I just wanted to throw this out there (in the hopes that Bungie sees it) because I don't see it posted anywhere else. I love Destiny and I have since the beginning. When Destiny 1 came out, I had friends on both the Xbox 360 & the Xbox One who played. Since Destiny 1 allowed cross platform saves between the same family, I was able to carry my progress back and forth between Xbox 360 and Xbox one. As a result, I purchased destiny 1 on both systems, as well as all of it's expansions. Yes, it was expensive, but (imo) worth it. This allowed me to stay connected to my friends on both platforms, as well as allowed YOU to make a profit TWO-FOLD. Logically, it makes sense for you to allow cross platform, and if it is only between Xbox --> PC and PS4 --> PC (not PS4 <--> XBOX) then fine! At the end of the day, I want to play your game on two platforms, Xbox and PC, and in the current environment this is both unattractive and time consuming. I would have to start all over on the PC (which, btw, came out AFTER the Xbox release - you know that) which, quite frankly, I don't want to do. Not only would I have to start over, but I would have to grind out all the gear AGAIN. Not only that, but the gear that I did obtain on PC would not carry over when I went back to Xbox. I'll be honest, I did buy Destiny 2 on PC, for a fraction of the MSRP at the time. I obtained it for ~$12 USD, and I [u]do not[/u] plan to purchase any additional content for the game so long as I can't carry over my progress between the two platforms. Given that the game came out on PC after Xbox, I assume there are others in the same boat as me. Destiny 2 looks and feels SO MUCH BETTER on PC. The only thing holding me back is the aforementioned issues. I ask you as a loyal Bungie/Destiny fan to please consider the option to open cross platform saves. Note: I am not asking for cross-platform play, just the transfer of game save files (i.e. loadout, aqcuired gear, etc.) from one platform to the other. Obviously PS4 exclusive gear wouldn't carry over, and I guess that is another issue that would need to be sorted out, however it shouldn't stop cross platform saves from working. To prove this point, it worked when I went from D1 Xbox One to D1 Xbox 360 without have the Kings Fall expansion on the 360.
