Here's a post talking about music in Destiny. Im tired of having my ears blown out everytime i launch Destiny 2 because of the horns. And for some reason for me its a huge turn off and doesn't want to make me play for some reason. Its like having the same song on repeat for a whole year. I literally had to turn off the music in-game. Can we get the subtle music back from the Destiny 1 vanilla days? Or just a mix of different music.
i just want d1 beta music

pls
Edit: I know they change it every expansion. But i need more than just 1 track per expansion.

Th warmind music actually scared the shit out of me when I first heard it.
-
I hate d2 opening music, sucks balls
-
Listening to liberals cry would be better than any trash music in this game. Hopefully Bungie can put some liberal agenda soundtracks in this game
-
The loud music on the menu screen kills me lol.
-
They should make a deal so they can play music by REAL talented people that everybody enjoys like LIL Pump. So tired of this old timers music.

Edited by starwarsforce789: 8/26/2018 7:31:28 PMIt’s changing. If you preordered the game on PS4 and have the dynamic theme it plays it. Personally think it’s the best theme in destiny yet. Link to the song: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DFfIWws4lfs Hope this helps

Hey man don’t diss Michael Salvatori. That man is a genius! I swear. The music team is possibly the greatest.
-
If they don't change the music for Forsaken, I'll actually be genuinely disappointed. I'm hyped as -blam!- for this dlc, but I can't with the music anymore..
-
They need Martin o Donnell back.
-
Hit that taken king total music BAHAAAAAAAA dum BHAAA DAAA TAAAA BAHAAAAAAAA
-
I just hope the terrible opening track for the game. I hate being ear-raped when ever I load up Destiny 2
-
The music is one of the better aspects of this game. It is really good. And yes, the title screen music will change 100% with Forsaken. It changed with Warmind, Rise of Iron, Taken King, and Forsaken will be no exception. Especially since its such a big expansion
-
I hope if they do, there some western influence
-
Compositionally, D2's soundtrack has good harmony but questionable melody (IMHO). The chords usually make sense with each other, and do a great job creating the mood and setting direction, but the themes themselves almost distract from the solid foundation. I think to really nail the 'space western' feel of forsaken, the melody needs to be inevitable- not predictable, but natural. The soundtrack will be intense and effective for sure, but with a good main theme it could give the story SO much more weight.

Edited by Laser Kittens: 8/26/2018 5:10:20 PMShocked everyone in the house when Warmind dropped. Turned the TV up when the game booted up thinking that it was low cause I could barely hear the initial music... ...I was wrong, and admittedly quite startled when that blast of brass kicked in.
-
THIS is a good topic. No hating, just suggestions. Thank you for doing this! I definitely think we need something softer. I'd love if we got something like the D2 Journey Theme as startup music. It's just amazing.
-
They likely will, as well as update the main screen. TTK all over again. Should have done that for CoO and Warmind too, but you know
-
That Warmind title music is nauseating. 🤢
-
Most likely the whole title screen will change along with the music. Like in D1.
-
Let’s all find something else to moan about lmao!?! some of you guys need to get out a bit more if start up music is an issue 🤣
-
I think it's a preferential thing. I'm sure with Cayde's death will get action, sorrow, remorse, and revenge themes... I am not hyped for Forsaken. I am way over Cayde and the latest trailer just weighed on me. Uh oh, heavy. With that said, I can not wait to experience the ambiance of the Tangled shores and Dreaming city. I think thatis where the artists of bungie really shine. Those artists are my crush!
-
One of the best things about bungie is their in game music,no doubt forsaken Will have a good mix of Music also.
-
Jokes on you! I love all the music. D2 Vanilla was just....well...I’ll have to change some pants. Curse of Osiris music felt perfect for the nature of the vex and the Infinite Forest. Warmind felt a little out of place, but there’s no doubt that some of the music was inspired by Doom 2016. As for Forsaken, I’m pretty sure it’ll be different kinds of music, Hell we might even get a track where there’s gonna be an electric guitar in it.
-
During season 2, i have CoO, the music didn’t change. When warmind launched it chamged though.
-
i listen to the Destiny Music when i cant sleep. when i play in game. i don't play with music at all.
