I can't stand the game still having one time use consumables into the game, its a horrible design decision to limit the freedom of shader use and it just an excuse to maximize profit for the heavy focus on Eververse.
Are they going to fix it or what?
edit: Luke Smith said it was supposed to expand the endgame but shaders don't feel like collectibles or items you earned for grinding endgame activites like in D1 anymore, instead they feel like worthless consumbles, and they could fix it by simply adding shaders that have an inifity symbol and also treat like real items like emblems rather than one time use consubles you can get from Eververse. Also Luke Smith was wrong because shaders were fine as they were and they did a pretty great job at expanding the endgame, and its just the new change just makes the stink and feel worthless.
edit 2: Seriously, enough with the shaders being one-time use consumbes, it should really stop being a thing. You should not spend anything else to get more of a shader from the kiosk because its a shader.....

RIGHT? cerulean divide has still not dropped at all for me. Wtf???

My invetory and vault is full of them all the do is take up room they need to make it like D1

A purely greed motivated design. My God....if you're going to try and get me to spend real life cash on digital garbage at least have the decency to make it more interesting that stupid shaders. For the record $0 spend on MXT for D2......ZERO......but did spend some $ back in D1 when Bungie weren't as greedy. More players would probably buy that shiny new sparrow or ghost if MXT stuff wasn't constantly shoved in our faces.

I think you can buy shaders from the collections tab using legendary shards. I'd rather have them focus on the core issues of the game then consumables. As long as I can get shaders from somewhere else than eververse, than I don't care. Leave the systematic changes for the weapon and loot systems.
