Titan Armor is so ugly!
The Titan armor in this game is so unappealing. There are only a few helmets, and or gauntlets that don’t look like bulky amateur attempts at transformers cosplay. I get it ok, titans are supposed to be big and strong. But honestly in Destiny 1 there were a lot of different options to make your Titan not only look strong, but actually cool, and slick.
Also all of the other armor pieces for the other classes seem to aesthetically follow a similar theme. The hunters kind of have a cowboy/ninja like theme, while the warlocks look like warrior monk/mystics, if you will. So they are able to mix and match all of there armor pieces and still look like something you may see in the concept art. Pretty cool and visually appealing. The Titan seems to be the only class that doesn’t follow any visual theme. In fact each armor set is drastically different from the rest, including the exotics. They always look ugly, bulky, and mismatched. What is the visual theme for the titan? Look how badass Saladin, Zavala, and Shaxx look. Let’s go in that direction.
Unless you are going to put some sort of Transmogrification system in the game, so we can actually wear full armor sets; can we get some more synergy between the Titan armor pieces (including exotics) aesthetically? Does anyone at bungie even main a Titan? You could’ve fooled me...

Bring back the jovian guard armor set at least that one was one of the best sets in d1

There is honestly only 1-2 good looking legendary armor sets while the rest are mediocre. I mean heck the RPC Valiant, a Rare quality armor set is better looking than most of the legendaries. Honestly if i could recreate my D1 titan, it would bring back my investment in the game. 1 ReplyI just started D1 fresh and in general the aesthetic of all the armor is cooler IMO, for all classes. There are some great sets in D2, but they are harder to find. I’m really not a fan of the exotics that just look insane. I prefer stuff like the helm of inmost light that stands out, but still looks great in a set.

Make male legs longer and a bit more muscular definition, make biceps and triceps more muscular, make abdomens look less bulky, make shoulders less bulky, give them bigger heads with a muscular defined neck. Because rn, they just look fat and short in comparison to the female. They can also make Titan marks look different and more diverse. Idk how they struggle making a Titan look cool considering Bungie made Master Chief who a Titan closely resembles.

Destiny 1 armor looks so much better. I get whole knight motif. But good Lord when most of the armor looks like it's all from a scrap yard or cut out card board sheets. And each with just a different paint scheme. Or ammo packs just... Just so freaking lazy. I love and miss the vanir set and the helm of in most light. Love to have Armatarium back even if it's a nerfed version. The chroma armor was nice I could have glow effects of my choice to fit my shader. Not have to find a random shader with a color I liked and it not making me look like I am from a rainbow bright rave party. Speaking of shaders they freaking suck not the fact I need to collect them right now to make a set. But why can I not choose that color hose to what part of my armor? It just seems weird I can put it on a Hunter or warlock and get a red black. But the titan I get this off pink and pooh color or representing McDonald's. Sorry I am not lovin it... I guess all the artists that made so.e truely beautiful armor sets left or are so busy working on what ever their new Chinese company has them making.

Anyone absolutely love the fact that armor is re-skinned? There’s three types of armor that exactly the same with different stats. Anyone love the fact that the crucible’s challenge locked armor is literally a shader with shitty decals? Content is hard to make.

Agreed, I love my titan, and I like my characters to be aesthetically pleasing as well as fun to play, which means I am pretty much restricted to using 2 helmets, raid and IB, the only arms I ever wear are the IO set because they are sleek, only ever use Actium War Rig or S2 ornamented crucible chest piece, and thicc thigh leg armours like raid or dawning. I want more variety :( Female character leg armours are hideous as well, in comparison to the size of all other armour pieces, with the exception of 2, raid and dawning, I want to use lion rampant without looking stupid.

Finally somebody I agree with! They look like Flamboyant Power Rangers on Steroid's. And that Titan Jump is so freaking Stupid McNupid, its like they are playing leap frog on the map. Did I mention that head gear? Their head gear makes them look some huge Mr. Potato head LOL. When I play crucible and I am the only Warlock surrounded by Titans its like an episode of Rupauls Drag Race, not that I ever watch that show Guardians, it was a commercial lets get that out there right now!

I think the Titan armor is some of the best light ok’ing armor in the game. Their exotics are hit and miss but their legendary gear is some of the best looking.

The crucible chest with the quiet one helm looks badass, for me it's the warlock armor that looks hideous the helmets never look right except for one and it's exotic.

Titan armor in D1 was a lot cooler. I don't like most of the shoulder, or chest pieces, and only a handful of helmets. Too bad.

I usually end up liking Rare and sometimes Uncommon or Common armor over the Legendary and Exotic, rarity shouldn't dictate usage, everything should be infusable to max light, give people the ability to use ALL armor in the game rather than 30-40% of it.

Acrium War Rig with RPC Valiant shoulders (with Avalon Teal shader) looks pretty good i think. A lot of the sets just look so bad though, some shoulder pieces are so big and boxy you could imagine Solid Snake hiding underneath them. (Seriously how did they go from Halo to this? some of the Reach sets were fantastic)
