Making it possible to use shaders on Exotic weapons.
Would be awesome.
Why?
I'd really like to have *for example* my Sunshot - Suros Regime to be the color of my entire Gear "Mad Monk". Instead of a shiny blue weapon while the gear is on "Mad Monk" color.
Don't like the ORNAMENT system on freaking Weapons if it's ONLY a color change. *Graviton Lance*
What does ornament actually mean? A thing used or serving to make something look more attractive but usually having no practical purpose. "LOOK MORE ATTRACTIVE". Oh hey, you have this Ornament. It just changes some colors. Have fun! Jeez... Just use a Shader System on the Exotic Weapons or don't do Ornaments.

i agree because when i used press preview Shader it changes the color of your weapon even if it is exotic showing what it would look like

1 ReplyI wish there was legendary armor sets that pair up with certain exotics so that it matches all the way. Instead of just one piece and a random set of gear.

i mean, its already in the game for primaries when you inspect a shader and have it equipped, for some reason vigilance wing always turns green no matter what shader so there are some bugs with it atm so its not as simple as just implementing the ability to

Then they can't sell you ornaments.sorry anything that is going to stop them from profiting from loot boxes is not happening.

1 ReplyThe other day I had noticed that if you have an exotic primary equipped, it will change when you inspect a shader. As in, it would show what the entire character would like with said shader... Had the jade rabbit equipped. Man, there are some really cool colors that could be put on it. So bump. After seeing what they would look like, I’m all in for the idea.
