I was running my hunter through the story line for Curse of Osiris and I got to the end of the story, as I was wondering through the entrance and up to this very unique boss I was thinking this feels like a raid. Then I got to thinking the Panoptes battle is very remnant of the Oryx fight if you changed up some things to make it more difficult. It has: add phase->running phase->dps phase->repeat This made me think maybe Panoptes was a failed raid end boss that was going to be a brand new boss, but bungie instead of bringing a new raid decided on raid lair to work on the warmind dlc sooner. This thought made me very upset because I miss Vex raids and Argos just doesn’t quench my thirst for a VoG 2.0. I would have loved to see the garden be a full on raid, the white/gold Vex be the main enemy. I think the armour would have been amazing.
