If it's made out of hard light, you could possibly engineer to jettison the engine explosion in a different direction, or in to something else entirely, if shooting an enemy can heal you, add more rounds to your weapon, and put you in zen mode. There is a way, but it's definitely not standard issue.

I'd love to catch some classified air. Because, you know, that's top secret high-speed tech there. You'd think that the the destruction of it in general would cause some frag damage but there's safety invovled for everyone BUT the guardian. Where's the airbags? Can I get a witness?
