Bungie,
Can you please add some rewards for players when they lose a trials match. All other crucible modes give tokens for completing a match (more if you win). Trials tickets are a large time commitment so for the players that struggle for wins in this playlist, there is little motivation for them to return and keep the population active.
Acquiring tokens upon losses that are redeemable when players finally get access to the Emissary would motivate more players to gather a fireteam for this playlist.
Thank you

It has stumped me for a while why Trials doesn’t give out tokens for loosing. You still have to win to be able to use them and the engrams from the emissary are capped like all other factions so I don’t get why they haven’t already made losses give tokens. Though personally I don’t think that it will really increase the number of players in the playlist. Trials over all has become so toxic to people and the matchmaking so god awful that no matter what the reward people would still avoid it.

"Blah blah we don't want participation trophies, Trials is for the best of the best only" Except the Trials playlist is dying because nobody wants to play with the sweats and the cheats except other sweats and cheats. Maybe if Bungie did something about the cheats there'd be more players interested in getting sweaty, but that never happened in D1 and doesn't seem to have happened in D2. You want fresh blood in the playlist, even the mouse stuck in the trap got a little cheddar for his pain.

The best thing to do would be to remove Trials altogether. The sooner Trials dies the better.
-
Trailsis only supposed to reward the winner. Its the concept of trails. Just git gud
-
Why would you deserve a reward for losing? It's the most competitive game mode in PvP. I can tell you're one of those casual players who whines and practically ruined this franchise.
-
Nah man.. PvE people will just queue up and suicide off the map just to farm tokens. They did it in D1 to complete the stupid book.
-
Why? You lost why get rewarded?
-
Now ive never gone flawless in trials, even in D1, but I still believe only the best get rewarded, giving tokens out for losing would just allow people to lose until they get everything and thats no way to play trials. Your motivation to keep playing trials is so that one day you'll be good enough to get that gear, which is why it feels rewarding when you finally get it.
-
Yep lets make things even more casual! Makes sense. /sarcasm.
-
Better yet, don't play Trials, I haven't in a long time, I got 4 Flawless in D1 and I have no drive for this 4v4 snooze fest they call Harder Comp AKA Trials
-
git gud

The title made me chuckle.
Rewarded for losing
Basically participation trophies. D1 has been doing it for years. At least Bungie did one thing right with D2; they just need to fix the other 1000 issues
-
Yay!!! Participation rewards!!!
-
Problem for me is the low population playing trials. On D1, went to the Lighthouse several times but in D2, I go against people who are insanely good or cheat. Buddy of mine has video proof of a guy being complete invisible and killing us. Point is that I’m not incompetent when I play. Just don’t go against people on my level. I like getting better and going against people people who are better than me (which there plenty), but I hate that I’ll put hours into it with no rewards. But that’s just me complaining.
Also miss 3v3, just saying
Trials is about dominating your enemy and gaining victory, not participation trophies
-
That's what the challenges are for.
-
And this is why I'm glad bungie doesn't listen to any of us

Nope. Trials is endgame. Not a " everyone gets a trophy for participation" system. You want participation awards, play quickplay
