Story Missions As Strikes Is Smart

I think it's smart to reuse the story missions as strikes. I mean, it would have looked a lot better if they released some brand new strikes as well but I think we're really nitpicking here when we should at least take time to celebrate the step we took toward a game worthy of investment with this DLC before we complain about strikes. Reusing assets is a HUGE part of game development, in all games (not just Destiny). During D1 I often found myself wondering why they didn't use some story missions as strikes. This way they can spend more time working on other things. Do we really need more strikes? No, tbh, I don't think we do. We need more different activities like Escalation Protocol and more reasons to invest time into these activities. With this DLC the story wasn't big, which to me is a good thing at this point. Story is always lackluster in Destiny so instead Bungie should focus on the meat and potatoes of the game that keeps us coming back. No one comes back to replay the story... They come back for the progression, the gameplay, the challenges and the oh so sweet precious loot. And not to mention... The less story I have to go through on my alt characters the better........ This DLC did what it had to do. It widened the endgame, gave us more reasons to partake in it and spiced up the gameplay we already had with the space magic that we've been without for far too long.
