Disc Not Reading? Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX for support (see page 35).
Every game I have reads fine but Reach will not load. No scratches and it won't even get to the point where I can install it to the HDD. It even came up as a DVD a few times...
Urk: If you are experiencing disc read errors with Halo: Reach, please contact customer support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and report the issue. As soon as we have more concrete information, we'll update this thread with the next steps.

I've been having some issues with my campaign, whenever I try to play any mission it just says "player failed to load content" and doesn't load. Everything else works fine though. It's really annoying because I have never played the campaign on my X-box just my younger brother's it's really annoying and I know that it's not Bungie's fault but I cannot get any of the weekly challenges involved with the campaign due to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Sam

i can play entire matchmaking games but once i finish and it goes to "saving stats" it says cannot recognize disc. Do my stats still get saved?

All you have to do to get it working again is to 1. Take the disc out 2. load the empty tray (push it in) 3. let the motor rev for a second, then open the tray 4. load the Reach disc I works for me every time.

random question but who manufactures the game cases cuz my case blamed up my disc and i can't play it anymore. whoever manufactured it is responsible for replacing my game disc

mine says to clean disk every so often too... and mine looks brand new

I have been getting that Unreadable disc plenty of times. It happens at the most random time ever. It can do it before a game, at the end of a game it even done it before it could load up the game. Also it would load failure on some maps. Lol I called customer support and they said all I had to do was pay shipping to send it out and I will get shipped another game disc. :)

This happened to me too. What the freaking heck Bungie. Maybe we should boycott them not go to their website until they agree to undo this. oOf course we'll need a scout or something. EDIT: First time ninja'd. Ever. Though I have ninja'd just never been ninja'd [Edited on 03.19.2011 12:34 PM PDT]

this is my second xbox and both of them had this problem it would say open tray all the time so i have to open an close it all the time just to get it to read

That happened to my friend and me once so we just breathed or licked it and then cleaned it with cotton and it worked just fine. If that doesnt work just try to get a refund.
