Disc Not Reading? Call 1-800-4-MY-XBOX for support (see page 35).
Every game I have reads fine but Reach will not load. No scratches and it won't even get to the point where I can install it to the HDD. It even came up as a DVD a few times...
Urk: If you are experiencing disc read errors with Halo: Reach, please contact customer support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and report the issue. As soon as we have more concrete information, we'll update this thread with the next steps.

I have the original Halo Reach.Works offline but i dont know will it work online.Also i forgot to say i downgraded the update soo mabey that fixed the problem.So what do you think should i go online

Why don't you install the game on the HDD, sometime that works insert the disc then wait 3 seconds, then press Y button then you will see a option called "Install Game" then when the installation is completed go to the dashboard and press Y button and then press A button, if the disc won't loads insert it many times that happens to me too.

I have this problem also. It ALWAYS cuts out when I'm finishing a match and says the disc is unreadable, then kicks me to the dashboard. No scratches on the disc either. I have no idea if it's saving my stats, but I doubt it since I have been banned for quitting (because the stupid game won't work.) I shoulda' listened to the clerk when I bought a new 360 S. Dude all but begged me to buy a PS 3 but no, I gotta buy a crappy Microshaft product...

I have an elite and it still happens for me too sometimes, but once in a while it works.

I just got back from vacation, put Reach in, and tried to play it and it gave me the error sign half way through the cut-scene. I washed it many, many, MANY times and I finnaly got passed the cut -scene. The only other problem I've had since then is the 360 logo came up when I put the game in but it worked fine the next time. I have also noticed a bit more lag in my matchmaking games.

I have two copies of ODST and neither will read. No scratches on either disc.

I have the same problem, my xbox is a 360s bought in december 2010, because I live in Central America, i had to wait a month to the game will arrive.. now I'm sending back, and I think i have to wait 2 months now, this sucks...

i tried that before even checking here and it went through every av cable and disc tray solution i tried 4 different halo reach discs and all of them green screened on on 4 different consoles and would only work on the new kinect xbox the microsoft support said its possibly a script in the game that my xbox will not read and that id have to send it back and spend 119 some dollars to get it fixed when every other game works perfectly fine :(

I know this is off topic,but i cant make a new post. D: but i really need help.me and my brother just started playing halo reach after being die hard fans of everyother halo game, and all the sudden whilst trying out the new invasion game type, we got banned from earning credits! and without reason! what the heck. How come i got banned and how long am i banned for?!?!? im pretty po'd right now.

i had that problem too. But i looked up on youtube how to fix it and 1 video said too rub toothpaste on it easy and wait five min. then run cold water over it to get the toothpaste off and dry it off easy. And try to use it then and see if it works. RECOMMENDED TO WORK.......well at least for me.

I've been having some issues with my campaign, whenever I try to play any mission it just says "player failed to load content" and doesn't load. Everything else works fine though. It's really annoying because I have never played the campaign on my X-box just my younger brother's it's really annoying and I know that it's not Bungie's fault but I cannot get any of the weekly challenges involved with the campaign due to this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Sam
