I don't know why you guys thought I wanted this, but I never did: Who the hell wanted second slot primaries 4v4 was a huge mistake, I want to know why you did this? I never wanted supers to all suck compared to D1 Why did you get rid of the skill tree? The way you use shaders is atrocious. The raid design you made for D2 was terrible. Exotics are not exotic. Strikes are useless, why did you go backwards with them? Who's idea was it to use tokens? What were they thinking? Taking away random rolls was a huge mistake, Masterworks is not the answer. Does the entire team know that they took a good year 3 D1 game, and regressed in almost every category known to the game? Why are heads not rolling, who's fault was this? Are you happy the game's audience has already abandoned the game? What were you guys doing for the last 3 years?

  •
Who the hell wanted second slot primaries
Me. Also massively prefer 4v4 to 6v6, especially on maps this size

  • I said to myself something needs to be done about the abuse of one hit kill weapons. Replacing specials with a second primary was a good solution. Yeah.

Well, if you had followed the interviews by the developers early on? They used Destiny 1 to basically say they were actually displeased about it. They were displeased about it because stories were actually wrapping up which were more ideally suited to be continued. When they wrapped up (forget the forum sentiment about the Stranger. She WAS wrapped up based on how events were playing out) and realized they needed to continue? They basically needed an interlope to designate storylines. It's done in D&D all the time. We call them seasons. 3 months of total free action for the world to progress. We will be getting one of those before Destiny 3 too btw. It's common for a reason: It allows mystery and details which are forged into back lore which is crucial because people WILL have something to hunt and piece together. Past that though? They also revealed they had already made weapons and class abilities waaaaaaay too powerful. Again, pointing to D&D as a roadmap of lesson? 5th edition is the current edition. You want to know how simple the game is? A Dwarven cleric's best overall ability for damage is an upgraded Guiding Bolt. How much does that do to a monster? 4 6-sided die or 4D6. Why is that so good? Because of it's damage type. Radiant. Which is used by celestial beings only. What level can you have this? Level 1. If you learn it at a higher casting level? It's now 5D6 for only one higher spell slot. You can pretty much one shot everything on that if you stat build correctly to provide various bonuses to hit things. Is it available to all magic casters? Yes. It's a standard type of cast: Evocation. You point finger at target and say the small incant to basically draw a god-level light which hits the target. You have that use for 2, 3, or 4 uses before you have to long rest to get the same amount of uses back. Destiny follows practically every equation you see in that. Instead of that capability though? We get grenade and other ability cooldowns. Lore wise? We have currently seven offensive fronts: The Cabal presense, the Fallen presense, the Hive presense, the Vex presense, The Taken presense, and the Leviathon which we haven't even scratched the surface of... not to mention that giant rift on Mercury. Which one will move towards destruction phases? Is anyone's guess. You want the best guess? Out of the khe key players so far- Rasputin is clearly eyeing something/someone/by his tone in that one mission was betrayed or has his attention drawn elsewhere and we still have zero clue about this powerful Darkness presence which seems to be enveloping these factions of species with only small sparks of civil war in the Cabal only (which we see now has everything to do with Ghaul basically saying he needed the light not to hurt us, but to kill the emperor and thus, become immortal and the leader of the Cabal), so the best bet is actually the Vex. Rasputin would know, given his history, that he can't beat time manipulators and yet? If he amassed enough power through the Fallen/SIVA/Clovis Bray research? He could take control of that and become all powerful. Truthfully? Anyone could. The difference though is he is definitely vulnerable with only the resources he has known to him. So yes, he is probably eyeing the Vex and the Vex are probably aware of his existence due to his power already demonstrated. This is what you work on, build, and figure out based on 8 hour shift days and 40+ work hour weeks for years. Do you do all that and suddenly realize their was more potential? That's what they admitted about Destiny 1. They needed more time to fine tune and explore it. Now? We're moving forward. This is the baseline for lore and it will be tied together with existing because frankly? There's a lot of minor things already tying the loopholes together. To put it more simply? In perhaps a few more DLC's and a game or two? We'll have a basic outline as to how things are going to progress story wise.
