3 weaknesses, 7 resistances, and an immunity with great Special stats and decent HP to back it up isn't good?

He problem is that his weaknesses are fairly common, and some of them are huge weaknesses. His moves also just end up being ok. He is also by far the dumbest looking of the three, in all of his evolutions. On top of that no one really cares about a small amount more of HP, HP can easily be increased, and it takes a huge amount to actually make a difference. Having defence and special defence is far more important.

I don't think poison and grass are super common, and electric is fairly easy to predict (on top of the fact that Primarina has the special defence to take more super effective special moves at least once, being able to hit back on a possible weakness). It can learn Psychic to cover poison types not weak otherwise to water or ice, and things like Shadow Ball and Energy Ball to hit for more diverse damage. It also resists fairly common types like Dark, Fighting, and Water, being able to flat out shut down many water types that don't have one of only 3 super effective types by tanking a not very effective hit (or having your opponent switch), and using something as a part of the fairly diverse moveset that can be super effective (or toxic if the switch isn't otherwise immune).

I mean talking specific moves is rather worthless in pokemon because pretty much every pokemon can have a diverse move set that goes against their type if they want to. No pokemon is unique in that sense. I dont know what game you have been playing bug grass is a fairly common type, and simple attacks like leaf blade are easy to obtain and easily kill him without a second thought. But the real issue is that it isnt a unique setup in any way. This isnt to say he is a terrible pokemon, but he can be considere the eorst of the three depending on what you are comparing. If you are just going for general looks then litten wins. If you are going by types, then roulet wins. Poplio doesnt bave bad types, but roulet is far more of a unique type setup, and a better setup.

You can’t really take looks as an argument as to which is the best, because that’s entirely opinionated. I personally think Litten looks the worst, and Poplio looks the best.

Some people chose their starter completely off of looks so that is why it is acatagory. And the reason i said litten wins for that is the vast majority find litten to be the best. It is not to do with my personal opinion, it is based on a rather overwhelming majority. You are in an incredibly small minority.

Technically the population does determine what is objective and subjective. We objectively say what is normal and what is not, but that objectiveness is just determined by the population at the time. For example wha the correct colours are is determined by what the majority see them as, and anyone that see colours differently is not seeing them differently, they are seeing them wrong. Even the things that we classify as subjective and objective vary and change depending on the population. I also wasnt even arguing about whether or not a particular pokemon was objectively better looking. As i stated it is the majority opinion, which tends to hold a lot of wait in something like a poll. It is the same kind of thing when it comes to beautify contests, a winner is still announced even though you may not have felt the most beautiful person won. In such cases the winners are determined by majority rule, just because it is majority rule does not diminish the fact that they are the winner. If more people like apple juice than orange juice, than apple juice would be the winner in a contests that asks which juice tastes better. You may vote orange, but if more people vote apple, then apple is still the winner.

Normalcy isn’t objective, though. It’s an opinion. If I dye my hair green, for instance, not everyone would call that weird. On the matter of colors, that [i]is[/i] objective. “Red” refers to a certain wavelength range of light, and whether or not the red you see is different from the red I see, it’s still in that wavelength range. Of course, where the range ends and begins is up for debate, but you can’t really say a vibrant red being red is an opinion. For the poll, choosing by loos is fine. Polls are meant to determine opinions. I’m talking specifically about your comment where you were describing why Litten is best and used looks as a reason. The word “best” implies you meant it as a fact.

Best doesnt actually imply anything on its own. If i said it is objectively best then there would be an issue with my statement. However i did not. The word best is not directly linked to something being objective. True i could have clarified which type of best i meant, but seeing as it is based on looks (something that is inherently subjective), i presumed it would be taken as meaning best in accordance with the majority or best in my opinion. I actually personally think roulet's final form is the best looking final form so i dont even technically fall into the majority, so again i should have clarified. Technically to clarify roulet is objectively best in terms of types out of those three. Not to say the others arent good, but roulet has a far more unique and better setup than the rest (he is much harder to replicate in other pokemon, for example). Mean while litten is the best looking according to the vast majority. Though of course not everyone will agree.

It was mainly pairing the looks in with the other objective things. You listed some stats like best typing, and then said looks.
