exotic sniper, shotgun, fusion rifle in energy slot

Since the beginning of Destiny 2 I have been a fan of the fact that shotguns and snipers we're not the main things people used in PvP. I actually enjoy the fact that they're not used as much as in D1. to tell you the truth I love D1 but I'm glad D2 is not the same game. when we started playing D2 I was very happy that the time to kill was reduced and it was easy to not just get destroyed by one good sniper on the opposing team I actually think that the the energy, power weapon system really make the game feel different in a good way. now that it has been a while with 6 V6 on the way I feel like maybe we could make snipers shotguns and Fusion rifle energy weapons I think that it should cost an exotic slot and also have features that would make it harder to use then their power weapon type counterparts somewhat like the no land Beyond in the way that it has iron sights. I feel like maybe the trade-off could be that you do not get as much ammo as you would using say for instance the uriel's gift so that people could not just Spam shotguns. you would actually have to kill someone to get more ammo and they would have to have energy ammo to drop. so you are in a way stealing it and if you kill someone with a shotgun and they do not have energy ammo it would not drop for the person who got the kill that way people will be forced to use their kinetic weapons throughout an entire match. this will also help with people using the uriel's and Mida tool less often and I believe it could really help the pace of gameplay and make Guardians more unique. there is no reason why the kinetic slot cannot do this as well but I believe it should be slightly less powerful if in the kinetic slot. All in all it is just an idea and I feel like maybe you guys have already thought of this but coming from someone with over 425 quickplay wins 5 Prestige Nightfall and three 3:35 characters and has been trying to be loyal despite all of the negativity in this community I feel like you may actually value my opinion. Even though I am not a streamer or have a large following it would be nice to see someone actually respond to this post. I know that is probably not going to happen. the employees at Bungie must be working overtime because I know it is not just their job but their passion I share that passion and coming from someone who would defend his games to The Bitter End I hope that this information helps.

  • D2 two primary system is what is ruining the fun in Destiny. It's a boring loadout. It also hurts pvp a lot, along with the slower time to kill. Everyone camp and team shoot aspect of it. It's why the player base is dropping off. The player is no longer independent , there is no excitement when you or your teammate kills 3 people quickly. Cause it's all team shoot. I don't want to play a game where I have to rely on backup to save my ass. I want to get 3 or more kills by myself, based off my handling of weapons and movement "skill". Not cause I had a teammate or 3 behind me shooting at the same guy. I also don't want to run away from a fight cause I need to heal up. It's a cowards way to play. This also goes for pve.. I don't want them shooting the same enemy as me, just to kill it. I want to be in a group of friends, we are all exploring how we want and killing things how we want, if we die. That's on us. The other player or A.I got the better of us. Their movement or handling of weapons was better in that moment. I want that returned to destiny. I don't like the exotic secondary idea. I hated being stuck with ice breaker in d1 after all the nerfs. It ruins the game and takes from it. Bungie should let the player play how they want to play. Not how they want us to play. I don't want a specific loadout that is better than all others. I want all weapons to do the same damage. Just some have different effects applied to them *explosive, acid, fire, cold ect* They don't have to do extra damage in pvp. But PVE make them do extra damage to the enemy. It's simple mechanics but bungie don't seem to know how to do it.
