Update Update - thoughts
Seems pretty good, you’re working for a system like D1 That ISNT D1. Going after Mods instead of Perks seems like it just might work.
I’d say the masterwork armor will be pretty cool, maybe add perks for normal masterwork armor next? This would increase the grind and make the raid not the only thing worth doing once the update comes out.
We also need EVENT specific mods. Limited time during faction rallies and iron-banner, SRL (shameless plug of adding this full time), spooky scary skeltons days, and crimson days.
(We already know you’re working to make Weapon Mods better)
Keep doing what you did with That hunter cloak, short scarves suck.
As for the exotic raid ghost, it doesn’t look the greatest, it’s not very unique. Maybe a Cabal Drop Pod ghost? Something like that would be SIIIIICKKKK.
Heck yes to iron banner ship, I hope it looks unique.
The l2 x thing for shaders would be fine? Just do what ya need to make it happen.
Buffs and nerfs seem nice.
Can nightfall guarantee a masterwork Weapon/Armor or have a higher chance too?

4 RepliesNope, mods are only a temporary increase to the cap they put on grinding. People play mmo’s to satisfy the need for a grind. This game wants to be partially an mmo and they will continue to lose their mmo playerbase if they do not reestablish random rolls. Random rolls were perfect for people who wanted a grind. But the trash community complained that they couldn’t get the rolls they wanted because they weren’t farmers and they didn’t want to put the time in to get their loot. But if I’m willing to put the time in, I should be rewarded with something better. They need to remove the cap to grinding. Reestablish random rolls. This is what I want and I hope all other opinions crash and burn so that the game can be how I want it.
