I been giving this a lot of thought and hope this is something everyone can come to some sort of agreement with or iron out some ideas. Further more I want this to TREND Where everyone can come and throw out an idea. So we as a COMMUNITY can get what we want! I’ve been watching the forums and most people don’t have any real feedback. It goes something like “this sucks fix it” But from what I gathered from the forums I think I’ve hit this right on the head. I believe I understand First things first stop worrying about balance! We want our guardians to feel powerful and unique! We want CUSTOMIZATION! WEAPONS: We want guns we can mod ourselves! Random rolls are cool but if you could pick and choose between: Scopes Stocks Barrels Magazines Under barrels every gun manufacturer in game should have its own multiple sets of mods So Hakke should be different than suros but it should be able to be equipped interchangeably to any gun. While making all this common uncommon rare legendary and exotic (only one exotic mod per gun) Then also add cosmetics to your scopes like colored lenses and crosshairs (we all know how much you like the eververse) ARMOR: We want ARMOR that actually has PERKS For example: quick melee, Hard hitting melee, Quick reload, Faster sprint, Again, we want CUSTOMIZATION! Edit 1***MORE armor with different STATS it would expand the loot pool and give a variation. STOP reskinning everything then offering an ornament to RESKIN the reskin What we need is to increase the stat number from 3 to 5. We would have so much more variations of armor. A want to be able to look at a guardian on the battlefield be able to identify there armor and go “wow, no way they got THAT armor, how? Man I need that!”*** But now here’s the twist when you do decide to make all these awesome things the people want, Also make COUNTERS to these said perks. So there is somewhat of a balance as long as you have the proper load out. Not every guardian is the same! We are all unique! Example: High caliber rounds makes you flinch, make a counter by offering a chest piece that reduces flinch Hunters can use invisibility make a helmet that can outline them to where you can see them. Make a chest piece that offers more resilience but by offering more resilience makes you sprint slower in return. Like I said above in edit 1 No reskins. We should be able to identify exactly what another guardian has based on the armor. In return it would give us a chance to swap our load outs around when in battle in hopes of countering them. CLASS ABILITIES Section 1: SKILL TREES: D1 had an ok skill tree with a few things to swap but it could be better. No one wants two different class variations We want the ability to choose what we want! Example: Void hunter should have the choice of having both invisibility dodge and invisibility grenades. Don’t make me choose over one or the other. Being sneaky and being the flank is a play style. Or let’s say I want the three shot quiver but I don’t like the other perks that come with it I shouldn’t have to play with those. They all should be interchangeable. CLASS ABILITIES section 2: The arc/solar/void shields. These need to play an actual role in the game. It does for the A.I. It Should be the same for us in the crucible. What’s the point of having energy weapon mods? Someone has a solar gun it should do more damage to a solar shield. CLASS ABILITIES section 3: More abilities! We need (that’s right you guessed it) more CUSTOMIZATION! More abilities! This could come from a new character or maybe even a new class or maybe armor that changes your classes abilities. Example: warlock healing rift grenade. It would heal everyone that’s in the grenades vortex. Example two: Pop up shields for titans kind of like the one from halo4 It would be on a different cool down system where you can use it at anytime but would drain the duration and if it gets broken it would need a full cool down. How sweet would that be to rally behind a titan shield and push forward with him to close the gap and turn the far range battle into a close range one. Simple stuff like this will go a long way. Destiny is suppose to be a MMO RPG FPS and it sure as hell doesn’t feel remotely close. I’d also like to see what others can come up with share your ideas.
