My Stance on Season 2 (Pre-Dawning)

<Welcome to another post that won't get any attention because I'm not bashing Bungie to death nor making some ridiculous claim like this game is perfect. Season 2 is out, so is Curse of Osiris. This isn't about Curse of Osiris. This is just about the changes made in Season 2. First off... the easy things. The positives. I am happy about the decision to make vendors... you know, VENDORS again. The armor looks nice and... I mean the ornaments look neat... yeah unless I start going into CoO itself I have nothing further to say than what I have said in S1. PvP. Yet again, the inability to choose gamemodes is severely frustrating. The lack OF gamemodes is frustrating. The rotation is -blam!-ed. Nobody wants to do Endless Shore Supremacy every time. I'm glad Mayhem is coming back, because I need something to enjoy in PvP again. The maps in CoO are nice, but still follow the "this feels like a small map" thing. Strikes. No modifiers for heroic. Strange, is it not? All it does is boost the enemies a bit, but not even by much. I have yet to see one of the new strikes become a Nightfall, which is odd considering the expansions in D1. Speaking of Nightfall, IT STILL IS THE SAME. NO new modifiers, NO variety in strike enemies and paths, and NO modifiers straying from their intended strike. Can you put anomalies on a different strike FFS?! And what about rotation? Why is Savathun's Song the Nightfall so much? And seriously, what happened to Strike exclusive rewards? Eververse. Whew lad... I'm going to touch CoO just a bit and say WHAT IS THE POINT OF PUTTING HALF OF THE NEW ITEMS BEHIND MICROTRANSACTIONS?! I mean, it looks nice but it could fit, oh I don't know, ANYWHERE ELSE!! Amanda Holliday is USELESS. Why don't you donate some ships and transmat effects? Don't think I haven't noticed the little things, either. Why am I getting less Bright Dust for deleting the same items that I did in S1? What happened to the Bright Engram promotion pack on the very top of the menu? Unfortunately, Eververse goes beyond just the game, but that's where my next post in this wretched place is going to go... and similar to this post, this isn't going to get any attention because I'm known for being neutral.>
