I have yet to see an argument for not repealing NN that wasn't based on nightmare scenarios reddit babies dreamed up or just pure misinformation. That ISPs could and would block off all of the internet so the only way to access sites is to purchase them like tv channels is idiocy. It doesn't even take into account that the way access to the internet is sold is predominately by speed. The only thing likely to change with plans is that they can allow you to purchase extra packages on top of your base plan speed to increase speeds for certain sites like Netflix. They cannot throttle ANY traffic down below your plans base speed because that would be illegal, with or without NN. Plus this allows them to recoup losses from having to subsidize the ridiculous amount of bandwidth these streaming sites are using. Notice how these sites are all behind NN, since it means they don't have to worry at all about how much they screw over the ISPs. Also now any small ISP that wants to enter into competition has a lower barrier of entry since they no longer need to pay the FCC for licensing and submit plans for everything thing they do to the FCC for approval. For people who claim the FCC are shills for big ISPs, I don't know why you'd support all new ISPs to having to go to thru alleged shills for approval of everything. Lastly, even if all the ISPs decided against following the laws and running their business in the sensible way, the way it was repealed allows the FCC at any time to reclassify the internet as a title II at their discretion. Now please ignore all the points I made because google and twitter told you how the big meanies at the FCC want to take your internet from you.
