I am not intentionally being negative with some of this. Just my thoughts after having played destiny over multiple accounts since the first beta for thousands of hours. I obviously like the game and want the best for it. Other main account is kyllap for those wondering. - I think the communication piece is nice, but anyone whos been around for D1 has seen and heard that times before. As a result that item will be ignored. - XP thing. Personally i dont care about the XP gains, or lack thereof, but its not because of the metrics. Its because the character models of our guardians and detail is TERRIBLE. Clipping issues. Antialiasing issues. The list continues. And it is because of that...that i dont care about 90% of the cosmetics in D2. Dont agree? Take a look at any rounded helmet and you will see straight lines... - Masterworks. Eh... I guess. Very small pool means that rerolling will be far too casual and or an annoying experiance because theres only 1 roll everyone wants and its the one that never rolls. - Tokens and shards. I think these are great changes, i do. I just feel that the underlying issue of the loot is that its not interesting, not powerful, not valuable enough tp invest time into earning. Ive got pretty much everything on this account and when i log into D1 on my main i can tell you where i got all my stored weapons and armor because they are all meaningful and memorable. D2 has none of that. I couldnt tell you when or where anything i have (aside from the manaman scout) in D2 came from. - Heroics. If there is no strike specific loot, i wont care about additional shards or tokens from these in the slightest. Nuff said. - Nothing was mentioned about the core things that make D2 a game that we all think is subpar to D1. Maybe it cant be changed. Maybe you cant say why you changed it. I dont know. But the core playstyle and all that pf D2 is years behind D1 and the hardcore audiance just doesn't like it. Period. Im glad that you jave recognized that the game needs work. Im glad youve said what you have. I just think that even with all this stuff, it doesnt address the core reason(s) why we are all unhappy in the first place. -Alien_x_human
