Anger Management

I woke up today, and what I found was everyone suddenly up in arms. I can understand some indignance from people for some of the issues that have arisen - certainly some more transparency and communication would helpful, I'm sure. But why do so many people feel the need to be so completely vile about it? Half the threads I see are repeating the same two or three issues over and over. No-ones adding to the discussion, except when they suddenly want something else changed (which has nothing to do with the actual issues at hand typically). All we've done is convince our devs to stop what they're doing and rethink how they address us as a community. I'm all for change. I'm all for letting our developers know that we're unhappy with certain issues and we'd like to see that change. And, despite everyone's groanings, I'm quite certain the dev team is working in things as best they can. But Destiny is like any other MMO...And I've never seen one that bent over backwards for its community that turned out well. Nor one that tried to implement rapid changes that stuck around. There needs to be a balance of stability -and- change. D2 hasn't even been out for 6 months, and while it's a sequel, it's a NEW game. I don't care how many models they've reused, etc...there is always work that needs to be done. And that takes time. You guys want to see the change you need? Give our devs some time to work it out, rather than having a steaming hot bowl of bile awaiting them every say they try to work with us. There's an expansion, with its own plethora of changes and fixes coming...And people are complaining about it before we've even had a chance to touch it. You can't judge a book by its cover; and you can't say you hate a dish until you've tried it yourself. So, at the risk of sounding arrogant and assinine, I ask my friends in the community at large: Are you children? Or are you Guardians? Let's all grow up and realize we live in the real world with real people - both ourselves, and our devs. Let's work together honestly and amicably and move forward and get over all this poison so we can have fun again. Bonus points to the Guardians who can make their outlooks heard in this thread WITHOUT punching the rest of the fireteam in the face. Save it for the Vex, eh?
