My theory on the New Raid Content was wrong, gg

So this is my speculation on the new raid content coming in Curse of Osiris. As seen in the image linked above is a symbol in the Raid tease, and can be found in the Royal Pools encounter area, that's it. It shows 2 Cabal holding spears, like guards. Why would this symbol be in the Raid if there was no encounter linked to it though? There's no other possible encounter doors to open in the main raid area, why does it exist? People used the emote glitch from a few weeks ago to glitch behind one door in the leviathan, leading to a staircase that seemed to go below the underbelly we could currently explore. My guess is that it leads to an arena type area(s). Since this is speculation my guess is that it is either a straight up royal gladitorial arena, or a prison arena and I have good reason behind both of them. I think it could just be a straight up royal arena where we fight Calus's selected soldires, champions, elite troops, waves of various enemies and have weapons an stuff dropped in to spice things up. I could imagine Claus laying down eating grapes watching us fight to the death for entertainment like a Roman emperor would. The prison one could operate the same way pretty much, but we would just be fighting prisoners to gain Calus's favor. It would also explain why the Symbol looks like guards. That's just my idea, your thoughts? Edit: New imgur link, didn't load though, rip Edit: I was wrong, gg

  • We already gained his favor, by defeating his Robot likeness, and completing the Raid. That's what the armor is all about, becoming one of the Shadows of the Emperor. Kind of ironic with the light vs dark metaphor so deeply ingrained into the game. Although, we always wear enemy gear after endgame, so I guess it isn't too different from the norm. I suspect if it was the case that they expanded the Leviathan, it would have more to do with learning what Calus wants to tell us, and perhaps about how his ship no longer has a navigator. This is all honestly ok by me. I really didn't hate Prison of Elders at all, but it was sort of lackluster compared to the other content. Challenging, mechanic focused gameplay is fun. I think finding out what the symbols could mean or stand for is the biggest clue. What would two guards signify?
