What is there to look into? Clan Admins can moderate the generic clan chat channel, should be an easy fix to enable moderation for custom channels.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Software is funny like that. We have to investigate the problem (which means we have to reproduce it and isolate the cause of the problem), devise a fix, test said fix and surrounding systems, find an appropriate release vehicle, and then deploy it. Since I can't expect you to know how software engineering works - that'd be horribly unfair - I generalized that process of fixing a bug by saying "we'll look into it". Hope that clarifies things for you.

You're assuming a great deal in your backhanded response to a legitimate question/concern. The "software" you're referring to (and specifically, the chat channel elements) run off what appears to be the same source code (one has a restricted element where as the other does not). You'd know that if you were an actual developer and not a hired hand charged with issuing canned responses. I'll just "assume" that this issue will not be addressed. Thanks for the quick response, I know you're busy looking into things.

If you don't know why, a big hint might be my user id. Or our bug database, which has this particular bug in it assigned to me to fix. Also, please don't suggest or imply the people here who normally give responses are somehow "less" than developers like myself. They have a super hard job, and do a ton of work to keep the developers supplied with the information they need to fix the issues users see.

There you go...assuming again. The only thing I "implied" or "suggested" is that you aren't a developer (didn't realize that a Bungie icon next to your name meant that you were). So obviously that offended you (for some reason), and if that's the case, don't reply to responses with backhanded remarks inferring that someone doesn't know something about this that or the other. You should probably focus more on the task at hand instead of trying to sensationalize something minor so you can feel like a white knight with a keyboard. Ultimately, I don't care if it's fixed or not (I'm betting on not at this point), but we're done here.
