Fixed issues crashing to desktop

Specs CPU: 4790k GPU: 1080TI RAM: 16GB Problem: Game used to crash to desktop every 15-20 min without error. Solution: set fps lock via vsync to 144 or 72 fixed the issues for me. I play all high settings and without fps lock I got 150-160+ in some locations in other 100-120 and other 75-90+. This is very different numbers. Why, due to different locations but why it drops like that no idea. I also had issue with fake fps drop, most of users have. When fps are perfect but the game played like 30-40 fps. Fps lock fixed all the issues for me. I also done some tweaks in nvidia control panel. Set power option to max performance, ambient inclusion to performance and etc... there is also other tip how to set fos lock manually without vsync https://www.kotaku.com.au/2017/10/how-to-limit-your-frame-rate-in-destiny-2/ I also tested gsync which works horrible with destiny 2 you must turn it off. Also I’m not recommend running msi afterburner and evga precision xoc even without overlays they cause game crash. Disable them.i can also recommend to download guru driver uninstaller and completely delete all gpu drivers via safe mode. download latest drivers and install. I recommend doing this before every new gpu driver you like to install. I did have similar issues in the division game. Due high fps my game used to crash. When I set fps lock game stopped crashing. The other games I played never had any problems like that. This is only hsppening in the division and destiny 2. I hope it helps.
