k this is out to all of those diehard MC fans, NOBLE 6 IS NOT MASTER CHIEF, bungie has said that noble 6 is not MC, and y would bungie lie to to its fans, that could cause some serius problems.

This is another thought.. Pillar of Autumn didn't leave as soon as the Covenant invaded Reach. It would've taken a while to get Cortana to the Pillar Of Autumn with the Covenant trying to stop their progress. With Cortana being the 'last hope', my thoughts is that IF (not saying it happens cause it doesn't) Halsey were to have died, all her knowledge in everything (which is a lot and important things) would not be lost because it is in Cortana.

Ok this is for the people who haven't figured out: Harsley is talking to Cortana (it hints it in the vid) The Spartan she was talking about is Master Chief At the end, Harsley was talking to Cortana about what spartan she was choosing, which was Master Chief (Goto the Beginning of Halo 3). Hope that helped :D

k, this is my theory that i made up from other peoples theorys, noble six was originally chosen to carry our last hope, aka cortana, but then noble six dies and cortana picks master cheif (because he is the only other one with the same rating as noble six) to carry her. cortana is our last hope because she has the halo key thingy.

This is why Cortana/Hasley Says about luck at the start of Halo 3. Because Chief survived Reach and Noble 6 didn't. READ THIS: At the part of the video when Hasley asks to see Noble team. At the point when it says "Carter, Noble 1" or whatever, it sounds just like Cortana (whereas Hasley's voice is slightly different in tone). That's my opinion any way.
