Hi Bungie/D2 Community! How are you?
I feel as though people start these post off with hate too much of the time. A nice welcome sends a warm message that may actually attract a bigger audience you know?
Anyways,
I know what I am about to say is not new, but I will say it in hopes that it helps the cause. Matchmaking in crucible is quite painful to say the least. I am not one who teabags after a good (or bad) match. I do not quit half way through games. I think my ps4 controller, and headset, is about 2 more crucible matches away from meeting my tv screen. My last 5 crucible matches players have quit the game. Its like a chain reaction, one then two, then the third. This is all competitive by the way, so I cant just suck it up until help arrives. There needs to be some serious penalties when you quit competitive games. What happened to that ol' halo 3 ban hammer? I was so afraid of quitting a game of halo because I may be banned for minutes/hours/days even. I don't mind facing off against a team of others who are good at pvp. I want to improve as a player, but that cannot happen if my teammates all quit after one round because they are in the wrong place, and have no repercussions if they decide to tell their ghost to warm up their ship. If you are not going to introduce ranked playlists thats fine, but quit penalties is a must. Their must be some form of fear when stepping into the sweaty side of the crucible that is suppose to be competitive, be it fear from getting matched with good players, or fear from quitting a game you know you know you weren't ready for. I think I speak for all the players out there with an actual "competitive" spirit. There are us few solo players out here. Don't forget about us! Rate your experience with matchmaking above.
P.S. Why the hell is there no slot for the actual question you wish to ask in the poll?
P.S.S. Buff hunters.
