You, probably missed a floating Psion or something and it delayed the wipe for some reason.

Nope. The area was completely clear. You wouldn't be able to avoid one for that length of time without the projection detonating. We cleared the void, took the smaller stack of skulls and wiped before we could reach the damage plates. The raid is known to produce bugs and this was a golden example.
