These items no longer affect your power level and are purely cosmetic, minus the mods that can be applied to pretty much anything.
What I would like to see are collection tabs in the vault for Ghost Shells, Ships, and Sparrows. Retrieving items from these collections would cost some glimmer, and the items that come from them will have no mods or shaders equipped.

Get what you are saying. Don't want to dismantle any of them and will soon fill vault with the ones I get
-
Speaking of ghost shells, my kill tracker ghost has some crappy stats on it. They are all Crucible based and I don't like Crucible. If I dismantle it and then go buy a new one from Shaxx will the stats be the same? Or will they be different?

D2 is littered with the same small problems D1 fixed because it does not benefit them to fix them again until people complain too much again. What matters most to bungie right now is what they can spin with the activision board for profits.

Hopefully Bungie will add some 'Collection' kiosks to the 'social space' to fix this issue. They worked well in Destiny 1 and there was no reason to remove them in Destiny 2.
-
Yes, there should be tabs for everything we had kiosks for in D1 or bring back kiosks.
-
Cause ghost shells have modifiers that are random i think

It should have been there from the start..
