The Destiny App...

... is really bad. I'm all for rebranding and innovating the set up, but this app has been implemented very poorly and has tons of issues. Firstly, the UI is extremely clunky. There is no ability to side scroll through menu options and in order to get down to Community or Updates on the Explore tab, I have to first select other options. Why is this a thing? If I want to get back to News, I either have to click on barely visible options or reset the entire tab. There are similar issues to this one on the clan pages. The Gear section is essentially a downgrade from the D1 version. There is no ability to see or transfer Ghosts. There is no option to see your character. Several Legendary gear items are still "classified" and you can't do anything with them. And there's the fact that it takes about 3 minutes and several resets for the app to reflect changes in equipped or transferred gear. So if you accidentally equip or transfer something, you might as well go do something else and come back. It makes it almost more worthwhile to simply do it manually in the game. Also, there is no lore section. I understand the desire to move lore into the game, but now you've attached the lore to gear. How do you expect us to be able to go back and view the lore? Are we supposed to hoard gear in our vaults purely to read lore? What happens when we run out of space? This is a big problem for the extremely loyal fans of the Destiny lore than have invested years in this game. Instead of doing the logical thing and providing a way to view lore in the game in a centralized location or spanning it between the game and app, you've effectively made it even more difficult for people to get to the hidden parts of the story that were so great. Why? Besides that, the visuals for pictures (on the home page, mainly) look grainy and amateur quality. You can also only load 25 threads per forum with no option to load more or change pages. Ultimately, this entire app now feels like a rushed and cheap patch on top of an existing app that was not tested or quality checked in any way. The previous version was great and had minimal issues. At this point, you should either revert to the last version or restructure it from the ground up.
