PC Beta Tweaks and Issues

Hi Bungie, hope you read this as I am only trying to be of help to you. - Aim assist on PVP (only on PVP). I understand on PVE that destiny has a certain "feeling" when playing with a controller for the D1 fans, that's okay, please add a protocol that removes the assist during PVP. Anyone playing this game on PC vs Console will likely play PVP on K/M. It's a logical request in my opinion to have the aim assist removed as it is an exploit that would make it unfair even for controller players who "need" it as there will be K/M players that take advantage of it regardless. - Please add a more user friendly interface for team chat. Currently the chat box does not ever disappear after typing, and frankly I haven't seen a single person use the chat box yet. However that doesn't mean it doesn't happen, the box just never goes away and I had to disable the chat box to not see my own messages sent to friends. On top of that, it would be nice when joining a fireteam to have a small window on the right or left side of the screen pop up that ask if we would like to join fireteam voice chat and/or a social menu in which you can mute or unmute, block etc. Take Overwatch as an example for these areas. - Voice Chat is a garbled mess. My friend and I used a third party voice chat due to the sound quality of voice chat being rather noisy. - There is at times significant lag with the strike, almost everytime I played it there were at least 2 times when the mobs would be dying and then health would refill, or they would die and reappear. My connection is @ 35 ping avg, 300mbps down, 25mbps up. I shouldn't ever experience that. So please switch to dedicated servers or at least indicate that you will at some point make that transition. - When in a fireteam with friends we would randomly get kicked from the group with getting ready to battle. - Maybe after a bit of trial and error I would recommend that PVP have it's own equipment rating and or sets that are made for it. (IMO) I think it would be good to follow WoW in that sense being that some people prefer PVP far more than PVE and it would expand the game a bit. I remember in D1 trying to get really good loot from raids so I could then goto pvp and dominate other players with gear that they couldn't get otherwise. - Depth of Field setting draws way too much power from the GFX card. I have GTX 1080 and I have seen the benchmark for 1080ti and depth of field on highest for both cards is at least a 30 to 40 fps drop. For those of us with 144hz monitors playing at higher than 1080p this is basically unplayable. (maybe just for me since I can't go back down below 120fps. My eyes won't adjust lol) However I noticed the graphical change between high and highest for depth of field and saw the barest difference of quality. - Also, pistols in PVP seem to be a little overpowered. Getting 1 shot by the better devils 3 times in a row (which may have something to do with aim assist) is a bit rediculous. When I switched to the pistol I noticed my K/D rate became much more favorable. I like using pistols, but if you have aim assist as well, then the game just isn't fun at that point. Maybe lower the hit box for pistols, not necessarily their dmg? IDK. I will update this list if I have time before the beta ends with anything else to note. Thank you bungie for what looks to be an amazing game, and thank you for the PC release. Take Care!
