These are my personal thoughts and opinions about the Destiny 2 Beta on PC. Please feel free to comment with your own. [b]Controls:[/b] - Feel real nice, regardless of keymapping (I changed mine A LOT), but I would've liked to see a different column for the binding. To make that clear, I mean a setting for Keyboard mappings and a setting for Mouse mapping. That I way we can have "Reload" on both R and a mouse button at the same time. [b]Sensitivities:[/b] - The camera movement is pretty accurate, but the levels need a wider range. Both Look Sensitivity and ADS Sensitivity need to go lower than the current lowest. I'm sure a lot of gamers who like low DPI precision settings will agree. I personally had to tweak my DPI levels in order to not over-lead my shots, and the default setting for Look Sens had me dying from how fast it was moving. - A "Scoped Sensitivity" would also be very welcomed. ADS is great for regular gun sights, but there should be a "Scoped" setting directed a bit more towards precise shooting such as with Snipers and Linear Fusion Rifles. [b]Sound:[/b] - Please include a Music Volume option, not just On/Off, it's either too loud on or too quiet without it. Currently the Voice Chat gets overshadowed by the music even with the highest volume set. Speaking of which, it needs to be a bit loader too, even with music muted it sounds distant and low. - Another great addition would be an "Announcer Voice" / "Dialog Voice" sound setting. For example when Shaxx is speaking during PvP, or when Zavala and other NPCs are speaking to you during missions/strikes. - A "Input" and "Output" device selection is something I thought for sure the game would have. We may have more than one input and output device connected at a time, choosing the right one for the game to use is beneficial. [b]Misc:[/b] - "/a" or "/g" (/all or /general) for "Proximity Text Chat", such as to communicate with all other players within a specific radius or in the whole of a Social Space. Opt-In for the same as the above chat but for Voice Channels. Simply add Up or Down arrow keys to the already existing Fireteam and Team chat voice channels. - Allow "Send Whisper" on right click of any players name, not just friends. - Allow for the customization of Text-Chat colors. "Fireteam Chat > Choose Color." The same for Whispers, Clan chat, and "Proximity chat".Aside from this being a nice addition, it could also help any colorblind players that might not be able to identify the set colors. - Tooltips when mouse pointer hovers over a setting. Personally, I have no idea what "Wind Impulse" is, but it's enabled. - "Show Real Names" should be OFF by default, not on. You know, privacy and stuff? _______________________________________________ [b]Possible Bugs??:[/b] - When using /w or /whisper, I am always given the message "Please enter a valid name". Is this because I need the "full name"? i.e: IzumoKousaka#1964 instead of IzumoKousaka. _______________________________________________ In conclusion, I love Destiny. I've been a loyal player since the Destiny 1 Beta back on Xbox 360, upgraded to a One, and have been a PC gamer for longer than I've owned an XBox. This game is one of my all time favorites and it has great potential. It just needs some tweaks here and there, and it'll be great even among the PC (Master Race) community.
