Why does luke Smith not care about pve?
Why did you not voice our characters...O that right you don't give a **** about pve!
This is the biggest let down for me!

PvP is way easier to add new content too and it keeps a majority of the hardcore players busy during PvE droughts. Bungies though process has always been: Come for the PvE and stay for the PvP.

And yet we have multiple posts primarily concerned about our character not having dialogue? Geezus, maybe this current mess isn't bungies fault after all.

For example, look to the Metroid franchise which is (in my opinion) a pretty fantastic 'PvE' franchise despite having a silent protagonist. We also don't really have a 'silent protagonist' in Destiny. That character is us. [b]We[/b] are the voice, with how we talk to our squad members and what our chosen online name is. I know I talk all the time when I'm playing, often because I am with a friend. I've made that gunslinging Hunter my own over the two 1/2 years. Heck, my friends practically renamed the Pocket Infinity to the Plasma Rifle with how much I used it that they basically called it mine. We are the voice of the characters we made.

21 RepliesHe definitely cares about PvE. You do not know him or what is talked about during development so how can make claims like that. You're being an ungrateful jerk. Just stop complaining. Just because there's no voice for our players does not mean the ENTIRE PvE experience is bad. That makes 0 sense.

And even though they have added flash points, lost sectors, Adventures, treasure maps, dialogue options, world quests, the new weapon system (they stated this was specifically for pve, not pvp) and has specifically stated that they are putting an emphasis on the story, it's obvious they don't care about pve. [spoiler]this is sarcasm. I swear these entitled pve players are -blam!-ing annoying as shit. Also why tf are you directing this at cozmo? Wtf[/spoiler]

The vicarious role playing does not work with a completely mute guardian and this type of writing. No dialog trees makes you feel talked at not to and not even a grunt when getting slapped around by ghaul was just awkward so even if I wanted to roleplay I couldn't. Doesn't help I hate the ghost

Luke Smith doesn't care full stop..... PVE- underpowered, poor weapon system, no character voices PVP- no dedicated servers, no 60FPS, no ranked playlists Just off the top of my head....

What makes you think he cares about pvp? Do we have 60fps on consoles, dedicated servers, ranked/social playlist in D2?
