Abilities seem weak in pve

I know this the beta but when I'm using some of the supers and grenades, well they seem very under powered. The golden gun for example is probably the worst super in d2 so far. Also the scatter grenades are horrible in pve. Not to mention the charge times for everything are driving me nuts. Anyone else having these same issues? Honestly I like the weapon system for pvp only, pve on the other hand should have d1 set up.

  • I definitely think there should be a line between pvp and pve in D2. Abilities are all pretty underwhelming in pve, especially when they take like a minute to come back and the striker titan is the only one that gets an extra grenade. I think if nothing else that as the Hunter's dodge class ability is solely for personal use and serves no team advantage it could use a shorter cool down (so could the rest of the abilities tbh). I think either the damage of abilities needs to go up, or the cool downs need to be reduced so that we can have more of them more often. I love the weapon system for D2 although I think we could do with some extremely high impact scout rifles that are very nearly snipers, something that can one shot headshot a cabal but take two or so kill in pvp. And possibly a very close quarters primary like a sawn off shotgun or even a double barrelled hand cannon that has nearly no range but can kill a bigger enemy in one shot at the same time it could have no reload speed making it less desirable for pvp. Either that or we get a lot more power ammo in pve, to make things flow a bit better.
