It's good, it doesn't feel like the weapons have been watered down, the character abilities feel more stream-lined, and the game generally feels more tailored towards the crowd of people who were WAY more interested in the story and lore of Destiny that is continued onto Destiny 2. Anyone you hear crying about the weapons or characters being "weak" are just the sweaty fully grown men with nothing better to do than complain and whine because everyone is almost on the same level in the BETA. Do not listen to those who complain about the supers being slow, there are no buffs due to your skill tree being locked. In the full game, I suspect that getting a super will be sub 10 streak in PvP. I personally feel that Bungie has favored towards Auto-Rifles in this beta, and truthfully I like that, nobody can sit in the back of control and just snipe without getting mowed down by someone using the deathstalker. It keeps the games energy high at all times, constantly pushing players into firefight scenarios over the points. I hope that they push an update before the open beta to ensure that every weapon is on some level of normality.
I have been playing Destiny since December 2014, I can tell you from personal experience that I never enjoyed PvP due to sweaty nerds constantly whining and following meta's.
Thank you if you have read this obnoxiously large opinion, and I hope to see you in-game!
(((Disclaimer, if you are one of the people who cries about meta or sluggish weapons/if you play on PS4, you're garbage don't argue with me on it)))
