Any shotgun warrior who thinks theyre good, is laughable. Padding their k/d with a 1hk special weapon for the entire span of the game, up until this current meta... doesnt take much skill, so i laaaaaugh and laugh.

well if you think sidearms take more skill than sidearms than yeah you're pretyu clueless. there is no special in this game that takes less skill than a sidearm.

If youre talking about in the current meta, i might be willing to budge on my opinion a little. If youre talking about the entire span of the game prior to this current meta, then i will forever disagree with you.

well of course i wasn't talking about the past. if i meant it that way i would have said there is no special weapon in destiny that [i]ever has[/i] taken less skill than a sidearm. i agree that in the past special ammo was abundant so special weapons were able to be spammed, plus shotguns had much better range and accuracy and handling and snipers had better handling and not as much flinch intake but now special weapons have undergone nerf upon nerf and now the change in ammo economy that is virtually ignored by sidearms. and i could go all day talking about how sidearms are easily the best close range weapon in destiny compared to other special weapons but i wont. bottom line is sidearms in their current state are extremely easy to use.

You make good points. I stand corrected, my good man. I just get tired of people who have earned their high k/d's from running their shutguns constantly (prior to current meta), crapping on other guardians and telling them to "git gud", thinking that theyre some crucible god, when that simply is not the truth. My guardians have spent their entire lives fighting against each meta (doing so with a sidearm; not wormwood), and now the meta has conformed to my play style. Start out with a scout, move in closer, finish with a sidearm. It's bitter sweet. Sweet because, now i get ammo when no other special weapons do (besides ammo generating weapons). Bitter because, now [b]many[/b] people use sidearms, and everyone thinks that they take no skill.
