With the free aimbot already implamented in the game it makes no difference if they take out the aimbot then yes mouse and keyboard have the advantage but right now having a controller is having a aimbot so no it's not cheating, " Bungie have promised that, if you prefer the feel of a controller, the PC version of Destiny 2 will support it - to the point where you can have both a controller and keyboard-and-mouse plugged in, and can switch between the two on the fly. Bungie have even implied that the game will make adjustments when it detects controller input, and it looks like the impact of that is pretty far-reaching" so fairs fair if it doesn't matter on PC it doesn't matter on console do what you want as bungie has said

It's personal preference. Be happy live your life.

For destiny no, decent amount of aim assist anyways. For games like overwatch and rainbow six siege its pretty unfair.
-
For destiny I'd say no but as for overwatch yes because overwatch was made for pc first console second. The characters in overwatch that require more aiming skill like mcrees and widow maker are much harder to use on console than with mouse and keyboard because the aim assist and hit boxes are much greater than in overwatch

Unless they end up nerfing aim assist in Destiny 2 a mouse and keyboard are not superior to a Scuf Controller. In other games like Overwatch an Battlefield which have less aim assist it is an advantage.
-
If it is supported native by the game on consoles, nope. If you have to buy an aftermarket USB emulator dongle thing to make it work, then yes.

No its not cheating. Just means you have no thumbs and suck

That's a tough one as their terms you linked are pretty vague and I can see a KB&M or even professional controllers like Cinch loosely falling into a couple of those criteria without more specific clarification. I would have to say on the surface no as long as they cannot be modded.

Edited by Dude Abides 227: 6/14/2017 2:03:39 PMIf someone personally thinks it's an advantage , just go buy a xim4 and join the party. That said, a kb+m can provide certain advantages over a controller but not to the point I'd consider it cheating. I feel the debate has a good deal of similarities to someone using a controller with button remapping, back paddles and hair triggers vs a standard controller.

If D2 is coming to PC then I don't think it matters anymore.

I'd guess "NO", not cheating but certainly from what i've read, it does give you one heck of an advantage. I'm not much of a gamer, nevermind PC gaming. I'm not that coordinated! Why are you worried about it? *I didn't click the link yet. Gotta run
