Kinderguardians: Raiding the Vault of Glass- Part 8
Remember, due to BraveCole's Character Copyright Infringement Prevention Policy, that of which the name was made up by me, I have to credit him for any characters I use in the series. Any characters or plotscapes belonging to BraveCole used across the story belongs to and is the property of BraveCole.

To be honest, I'm not even doing this for my own fun anymore, if no one is replying and reading my stories... I'm kinda getting bummed, so the quality of my stories have been getting worse(?).
Having escaped the onslaught of the Vanguard, the raid team has arrived at the Gorgon's Labyrinth's chest room, where if they stepped outside of the cave, one would have to be especially careful in their noise level. One mistake, and all, in a sense, would not matter anymore. Dawn is shaken up, possibly from the amount of men BraveCole has killed during their wild dash. [Please see Chapter 7, to see why and how it happened.] Ventis's face is blank, and seemed to be frozen in one place. Fexil shifted in his place, the aura of awkwardness growing stronger. Rakkl-2 grows impatient, as well as the Hunter mybeary. Rakkl-2: So wait, you're sure that we will not open this chest? Fexil: Positive. This is in memory of our dear friend, RJ, who has died in battle. Rakkl-2: Oh. Umm, eh...oh. Everyone but Rakkl-2 closes their eyes. mybeary fiddles with his Fatebringer, on which bullets are taken out of the gun and being placed back in. Suddenly, Rakkl-2 opens the chest. Rakkl-2: Well, you do you, I'll do me, but I wouldn't want to do you, if you know what I mean. Oh, cool- Fexil: Wow, just wow. No respect for the dead? Rakkl-2: Not that I don't respect you, but I really think we should give our loot from this chest onto the grave on RJ, in so he may get this into his afterlife. Now, if you'd excuse me, I'd like to put aside my Praedyth's Timepiece (Adept), on  which RJ may be able to enjoy. Ventis: I would like to put aside some loot as well, but I don't really have any duplicate weapons at the moment... Dawn: S-s-same here! Fexil: I guess I can put aside some booze I was drinking before this raid... BraveCole: Hey bud, I don't think you should really give a kid alcohol. Fexil: Oh, that's right. The members open their treasure one at a time, with certain members getting better gear than others. Fexil has gotten a Bad Juju, whilst Ventis has pulled a Plan C, on which he immediately demanded a trade. It was a good trade, considering that BraveCole had to monitor Ventis from time to time to make sure he wasn't planning on killing his fellow guardians. Across once more onto the spacetime continium, RJ's eyes are so swollen, that sleep was a luxory. He had barely slept due to the constant shootings of his captor, or the inability to sleep if as already he was already dead, or if, you know, he didn't want to suffer anymore. RJ: They finally took your dirty laundry, happy? Figure: Like I said, that wasn't mine. RJ: Talk about ungrateful. Oh, hey! A pulse rifle! Figure: Nothing in here is yours. Send it back. RJ: I can't. It was sent to me... Figure: Odd. Are they aware? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rakkl-2: There it goes. Y'know, this box actually carries news faster than your mailmen. Fexil: Uh-huh. Save the trivial stuff for later, Einstein. Rakkl-2: Alright bud, play that way. BraveCole: Alright then! Should we come down? I'm guaranteed to lose my job now, so why not explore a bit deeper? Fexil: Oh, man, We're sorry. BraveCole: Nah, it was mine. First mistake was to stay a while, when I shoulda just grabbed the kids and materialized out of there. mybeary: You can pull out your Ghost now. BraveCole: Great observation, Sherlock, but, as I tried to pull up Paradoxis, the Ghost has died. Becky: I have not died, hon. BraveCole: Becky! Where the hell have you been! Becky: Got lost, hon. You know hon, Zavala and Ikora are pissed at you. What did you do this time? BraveCole: I went along for the ride, and now I can't come back. The tower's going to be teeming with my name now. Rakkl-2: Whoo, too bad for you. I'm still banned from 17 different towers. Fexil: Wait, 17? You never told me this! Rakkl-2: You didn't read the fine print on my resume. Looking back now, I remember when I was banned. They're probably all destroyed, but I wanna go where even our light is held in the smallest of things. Fexil: Quit talking nonsense; We're going to have a long talk when we get home. BraveCole: Hate to interrupt this lovely conversation, love the reference by the way- Rakkl-2: -thank you, but I really di- BraveCole: - but our pursuers are catching up. We better get deeper in the maze, and yes, Dawn, the Gorgon's Labyrinth . Dawn lets out a guttural scream, where Ventis had to cover her mouth. They can not risk even a single sound to allow the Gorgons to catch their eye. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Back in the spacetime pocket, RJ has been toying around with his new pulse rifle, often dueling with the Figure in a way beyond comprehension. Bullets flew in all directions, coming from one direction and landing in the spot where it was first shot. Any damage to the rifle due to astray shots was, miraculously, fixed, making a fight seem endless. At last, RJ drops the rifle. He kneeled, the pain a thorn at his side. Literally. In his eyes, the Figure began, and will begin to look more and more like a rogue, instead of a man beyond insanity. A desperado, instead of a sadist. Although he looked like Dredgen Yor. "Yor" knocked RJ unconscious. Some time has passed now. His rifle taken, at the feet of "Yor," he made no attempt to reach for it. Something told him that "Yor," who or whatever he was, wanted to talk. FigYor: So, you're wondering, Why? Why did I get teleported here to not only be a slave, but to be killed over and over again? "Yor" straightened his imaginary coat. FigYor: To be honest, I was just really angry. RJ, whose Arc Blade has began materializing, is filled with electrostatic rage. Each moment which his anger is vented, the Arc Blade spins more rapidly and intensely. RJ stands up. Then, with a slight Arc to his tone, he screams. RJ?: WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU WERE ANGRY? I WAS TORTURED, ENSLAVED, AND SHATTERED! YOU MONSTER! YOU LITTLE SON OF A -BLAMZ-ING GUN! I WILL KILL YOU A THOUSAND TIMES, EVEN TENS OF THOUSANDS BEFORE I HAVE MY REVENGE! FigYor: You know, you're actually the first person to- RJ?: I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE I DON'T CARE! SHUT THE -BLAMZ- UP NOW! FigYor: You developed a super. In this goddamned pocket of space. "Yor" was electrocuted, and the gaping hole will never heal. Not, until, he went back to his own world. RJ SCREAMS. The Arc Blade strengthens, tripling in size. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BraveCole: Wow, the Gorgons are pissed, and we haven't even stepped foot upon the ground yet. BraveCole and the others are at the cave's entrace, daring not to fall, as falling would be fatal. The Gorgons are, in fact, pissed, as they are spinning in an infinite loop of explosions, accelerations, and agitation. Arc streams flow, replacing the natural river. mybeary: Whoever did this was no guardian from our world. Ventis: What makes you say that? mybeary: No guardian could have drove the Gorgons to insanity, change the landscape to an elemental hell, and fill the air with so much light. This is heaven, if you like random electrical storms here and there. Ventis: Wow. Rakkl-2: Wow indeed. How do we get down? mybeary: Stay in the chest room. I'm going down. Rakkl-2: You're kidding. mybeary: I'm not kidding. I got two loads to blow and I can't wait until my Heavy Synth is up. I can't be wasting these last 2 heavy, can't I? Rakkl-2: You make a fair point. mybeary jumps down. Sparks run up his legs on impact, immediately electrocuting him. But he won't go down. Not without a shot. Hey everyone, I hope you're really enjoying the series so far! If you want to read the other parts, just click the #kinderguardian tab, and you'll find my stories, along with BraveCole's. He's a great author, and I hope we can find out what plans BraveCole has in store for us. I do speculate that Dawn is BraveCole's daughter, so keep an eye out for anything that relates to this!
