Crota's End Feedback (the reprised version)

Bungie, I want to first say that you have legitimized Crota's End as an endgame activity. I never really took that raid seriously and always thought it made a better strike than a raid. However, with the new challenge modes and revisited bridge sequence following the Abyss, I can say you've made the most fun activity from the ashes of the most trivial one. The Abyss I always enjoyed running the Abyss. The thing I hated was people wanting to hide in a rock and never fighting it out in the middle. Out of the 15 or 20 play-throughs I did last week, I will say we never once took the cowardly way out. And I ran it with nothin but LFG groups. Bridge This is where is really commend your changes to this raid. Exiting the playable area to de-spawn the ads was annoying, but a way of life in Y1. It made the raid laughable. Now, I don't know if a single person who would dream of doing that because you made the encounter after crossing the bridge legit so much fun. All the LFG groups I have joined rejoice in picking up 6 swords and smashing the heck out of the Sword Knights and Gatekeepers. Easily my favorite encounter in all your raids. You have a slight skill gap to cross the bridge and then it's an all out slug fest for sh*ts and giggles. GG. Deathsinger I love the mix of technicality, brute force and speed this challenge requires. Adding that sword-bearer was sly and commendable. It's a pure adrenaline rush. Thank you! Crota My initial thought was "oh, great, we have to have multiple sword bearers." However, after having played it, I really like what you did. Crota is nowhere near as difficult as he used to be. He's nowhere near as aggressive on the slam after the damage phase, which makes it easy to teach first time sword bearers how to take a stab it killing Crota. Once we figured out the weapons bubble, it also made it fun for seasoned sword bearers like me, who can get 4, 3 and a super in a run to knock it down to two swords. That you shrunk Crota is also hilarious... bet you thought we wouldn't notice! Final thought Crota's End is a super barebones raid, which I didn't appreciate much when it was released, because I tried holding it to the same standard as VoG. However, after having the benefit of hindsight from King's Fall and Wrath of the Machine, Crota's End is refreshingly short; demanding speed and precision. I would classify it as a half-raid and would love to see a return of a similar such activity in D2.
