Trials players in Raids
Just throwing this out there; if you come into a raid, and you're an avid trials player, it's probably a good idea to not bring your sweaty, shitty attitude with you. Leave that in your 3v3 mode because no one wants to hear your bitching. Especially when you're not actually helping, and in fact are making life harder for everyone. No one gives a damn about your K/D, your ELO, or how many times you went flawless. If you're not there to help and be of any real use, stay in the Crucible section of the directorate and leave us "low light casuals" to enjoy our gaming experience.
Edit: Before anyone checks stats, the very assholes I'm posting about are the reason I don't do Raids. I play them to get the experience, but it's just not worth the salt to have to see one or two people ruin it by being a douche.
Edit 2: Honestly, I was pissed at one dude, and I shouldn't have lumped PvP guys together. But as I've had people here say, there is no reason to act like a dick to people. I've ran the raid a few times, but I don't deal with bullshit from people that are at least 15+ years younger than me. I'm sure we've all dealt with assholes, and all I wanted to do was vent as I'm sure many of you have. Those that came here to publish K/D, raid #'s, you're what's wrong with not only this community, but gaming in general. If you're just roasting, by all means do so, but when you publish someone else's stats in ridicule, you're officially a sweaty douche.

I play tons of trials and I don't even mention it when I'm raiding unless someone starts a conversation about Trials. :/ [spoiler]This hurt my feelings...[/spoiler]

Had a player in wrath wearing his ornamented flawless gear bragging about how easy hard mode was while he's standing on Aksis's teleport pad everyone can guess what happened then he raged out and left after a good shaming

5 RepliesTrue can be said about some PvE elitists. Back when I had to pug raids, I ran into a lot of assholes. They were either douches because of my gender, or douches just because. Idk. But I really don't miss those days. But the PvP elitists that have to brag about what streamers they play with, their loadouts, their guns, their flawless times...etc...those guys are hella annoying. I'm like dude we're in a raid. I don't give one flying frick who you played crucible with the other day. Focus on the task at hand. Enjoy the game. That's it.

5 RepliesWould be interesting to see the percentages of players participating in both the Raid and Trials. Out of the players participating how many complete the Hard Mode Raid with Challenges vs how many make it to the Lighthouse. Which completion has the smaller percentage.

The last raid was terrible for me because I managed every piece of raid gear in the first 2 clears. I really enjoyed Vault of Glass and Crota because they had challenging mechanics. POE was fun for a short period, but then became lame as it was the same scenario every week. Then came Oryx which was an actual challenge for a while before it became grind farm. I have 22 flawless lighthouse visits so I guess what I am saying is that Destiny doesn't keep me entertained for very long. The best part about this game for me is acquiring different weps and trying them out in the crucible because to me it feels like that is how this game is designed. PVE is a rinse repeat game and Destiny is practically handing everything out so fast because people whine and cry and trials isn't designed for people who are average PVP players and trials weps are no better then those from the Vanguard etc. However, at the end of the day I keep playing because its fun to play with people from all across the world and I am always willing to help with raids or fulfill an Iron Banner fire-team. I hope Bungie learned from Destiny 1 and create a serious amount of content for Destiny 2 or the entertainment value of the game will still be once or twice a week playing.

Assholes, you played with an asshole. Not a "pvp player." Both sides have their assholes. Tbh I haven't seen a good PvP player that sucks in pve though.

From my experiences usually the high elo sweaty neckvbeard trials players are the one who cause the most wipes in a raid. They go on about how good of a trials kd they have and Yada yada. They are usually terrible when it comes to raids though. Most not all

I find people get more pissy in raids than PvP. Sooooooo... nothing is gonna change there.

13 RepliesMaybe they're mad cuz you suck at the game. I don't know about you but if you're causing the raid team to wipe or are CLEARLY the weak link, I'm gonna criticize you no matter who you are or how good you are in pvp. If you happen to suck in pve though, you're more likely to suck in pvp too

Whilst I agree being good in pvp doesn't make you inherently good at pve and vice versa you are coming across rather unnecessarily aggressive, and that's essentially what you say you don't like, just make a group of like minded friends and have some fun that's all that matters in the end.

No if they show up in my raid team i will request a paypal payment or do a recovery on their account for 100%guaranteed completion of the raid. Or stream it and must follow and enter raffle for a "chance" at a run with us..
