Please buff the white nail perk on the Black Spindle back to the perks original state.

With the return of Crota's end comes the legendary sniper Black Hammer. Black Hammer and Black Spindle both share the unique perk White Nail which refills your magazine from your reserve ammo after landing 3 precision shots. However why would anyone want to use the Exotic Black Spindle when you could use the Legendary Black Hammer and free up your exotic weapon slot for other exotics. This is why I believe Black Spindle should be buffed to have the original White Nail perk which refilled your magazine without taking ammo from your reserves and essentially allowed you to endlessly have ammo for this Sniper as long as you had the skill to land precision shots. Black Spindle will become obsolete otherwise and this buff would give players a reason to use it. Plus the original White Nail perk was a true exotic perk and deserves to have an exotic with it. Edit: Obligatory "Trending" and 100 replies edit Edit 2: Some confusion on what I meant with the title so I changed it to hopefully be less confusing Edit 3: Thanks guys for all of the likes and comments and for mostly keeping this thread hate free. Hopefully someone from Bungie will see this post and acknowledge it.

  • They need to rework the White Nail perk for the Hammer and Spindle. For the Spindle, White Nail should remain the same, but it should go back to functioning like it did in Y1-pre nerf when it pulled the rounds out of thin air instead of from your reserve. This will match the gun up with an exotic perk worthy of the exotic slot. The BIGGEST complaint about the OG B-Hammer was that it was a legendary gun with an exotic perk. Spindle is now an exotic with a legendary perk. Easy fix. Make the perk exotic again and put it on the Spindle. For the Hammer, remove White Nail and give it something along the lines of Phantom Bullet, Triple Tap, Triple Double, etc. Whatever they choose to do. This will match the legendary gun with the legendary perk so that it will not overpower Spindle (but then nobody's going to use Hammer over Spindle- unless your hot for that Hive Disruptor perk)
