This is the first hand experience of facing heroic challenge mode oryx for the first time as a red bar here it goes, I join my fireteam and as I spawn we are all dancing around on the plates, VARIKS: welcome to Oryx checkpoint, FIGHT!, WIN!, LIVE!. Upon being slowly taught the mechanics of the fight I'm introduced to the light eater Knights, VARIKS: Important target gaurdien, kill or be killed!. As I slowly become a rouge squadren leader, shouting "plate 1 standing by." I also happen to actually be enjoying destiny for once, until plate 2 misses their knight and blows up my stacks of corrupted light and I soon become, VARIKS: KEKSIS, THE BETRAYED. After a few wipes we finnaly are on to the fourth set of bombs and are almost ready to detonate, and then my mic cuts out and I think my teammates are saying something like: VARIKS: DISMANTLE BOMBS YES?, OR YOU DIE!. So I run to my set of bombs but then as I start detonating them I hear my teammates shout in my ear "STOP!." And then as I see them bracing for impact I can feel the depth of my mistake, VARIKS: you have failed GUARDIEN. As we wipe we all have a laugh about it and continue, until we are on a shade round and as the shade dies the great Phalnex God of death sends me to space to never be seen again, and just to top things off, VARIKS: I remember architects from reef wars, many awoken dead, clever clever creature. My warlock is babooned to space, VARIKS: reef war tactic guardien. And then as I try to join them again my team becomes unable to send invites to me, VARIKS: Architects are jamming our comms guardien, fight well, fight for Salt. As I slowly die inside I look to the traveler's walk to find my fish freind who I stared at for ten minutes, VARIKS: he considers himself prophet, or he has gone quite mad. As I slowly come out of the trance I go to my vault and receive a party invite from a kid who didn't speak English so I couldn't understand him at all but I presumed he wanted help, but I didn't feel like helping, VARIKS: that was the leader of the fang, he just called you a....
