I remember last year CNN Reuters etc had stories of Fortune 500 comapnies and major businesses and schools expecting mass worker shortages due to people calling out away from work to go get Halo 2.
I've never been in Line for anything at 12 midnight in my life but Halo 2 was worth it.

Although its not directly related to the one year anniversery, it is in the same time slot... for the Participation in Government classes for my high school, we have to raise money for the Sierra Leonians. Someone in a pig class thats a different period than mine came up with the idea for a halo 2 tournament, and everyone got really into it. (I suggested it in MY class, however, and was refered to as a geek.) The tournament will be going on the month of november, at least 4 tvs and 4 xboxes set up at all times after school. Pretty sweet, as far as extra curricular [sp?] activities go. Being the local halo fanatic someone has already placed bets on me... putting on the stress before the tournament even starts :(

I'm celebrating it by skipping on Wednsday and playing Halo 2 LAN/Live from 7 in the morning to 5 that night with some friends...and we're all wearing "My Other Car is a Warthog" shirts.

It might work all right for most of you, but up here in Canada cars are required by law to have daytime running lights, so it wouldn't really make any difference.
