Assassinating a Brute, Grunt, Jackal, Hunter, etc... *BE CREATIVE*
We all know what a Spartan/Elite assassination looks like. Lets think of what a spartan on another type of Covenant would look like.
Brute: Would it be like what Buck did to the chieftain in ODST. Would it be similar to the Spartan/Elite assassinations? You jump on his back and stab his neck? You jump on the top of his head putting all your spartan weight on him while he's on the ground? What do you think a Spartan assassinating a Brute would look like? Or an Elite assassinating a Brute?Be creative folks. I think it should have something to do with stabbing those gorilla faces of theirs and seeing the mark on their face after the assassination. Or maybe a knife up their ass?
Grunts: Millions of ideas. nuff said.
Hunters: I'd like to see that. Killing the worms?
Skirmishers/Jackals: I'd like to see their heads cut off. They're so ugly.
Engineer: Jump on it and stab it repeatedly. Something like
hijacking a vehicle and seeing them explode as usual.
Prophet: Like in Halo 2 when you kill Regret.
Marines: ???????

assassinating a drone... jump on and stab in face in this order eyes, mouth, neck, then cut off wing and stab in heart

for brute, hunters, and/or elites. Which assasanation you do will depend on what armor ability you have on. jetpack: jump over the enimie's head and turn on jetpack so it'll fry its head. armor lock: you jump on top of the brute/elite and you wil turn on armor lock for just your hand and super punch their skulls in. medic dome, sprint, and active camo: normal assasanations. Punch through the hunter, pulling out a handful of eels as it collapses. Either that of the ability to board and plant a grenade.

stab grunt in non lethal area then punch his face in and for jackals and/or skirmishers rip out tooth, talon, or claw and impale it in eye/heart [Edited on 07.26.2010 5:43 PM PDT]

Hate to say it, but Drones probably ARE in Reach. They only said that they wouldn't be in firefight, but they never said anything about their absence in the campaign. Also, the grenade in the hunters back might be cool, but wouldn't that defeat the purpose of an assassination, you know, something that should take out another character a little stealthy? (do want an assassination where he gets sliced in half by an energy sword)

i think the assassination of a hunter would be jumping on its back, grabbing your knife a cut completley through the neck (or ... worms :|) basicly having its head rolling around on the floor (lol)

Grunts: This might take a little long, but oh well. You rip the little cone thing off it's back and stab the grunt in the face with it. :) (Only works on grunts that have the cone thingy) Jackals: Stomp it's face into the ground. Brutes: Poke it's eyes out and then let it blindly fire at it's teammates. (Not and assassination, I know, but it'd be cool) Or perhaps jumping on it's back and feeding it a live grenade. Hunters: (I doubt they'll have these anyway, but here's mah idea anyway!) Jam a frag grenade into the middle of the worms and watch it explode from the inside out. Ok guys, we saw a few assassinations in the Firefight trailer and gameplay like the Jackal getting smashed to the ground(LIKE LIKE LIKE :D) and the grunt being stabbed in the neck(I'd prefer something more hilarious).

For hunters I doubt youll be able to assasinate them. But I would like to see a pistol wip to the back of the head and then a curb stomp. What race I could care less

assassinations: Grunt: grabs him and then kicks him off the level. Jackall/Skirmisher: grabs neck and stabs. Brute: back stab. Hunter: Press and hold B to enter animation and press b repeatedly to stab.

Stab the back of the leg then the brute falls to its knee and a stab to the top of the head. As for the hunter jump on the back and just stab repeatedly.

I remember in a firefight vid it showed a spartan slice a jackals neck then while it was falling he jumped up and basicly did an iron man ground pound on its head (Not armor lock, it was all part of the assasination)
