No.
Matchmaking on the weekly is fine, they're just heroic strikes so if one random player is a d-bag AFK shithead, no big deal.
Nightfalls though, it gives me some relief to assume the people I'm finding in LFG are going to actually participate since they also put in the time to find people to do it with.
Any asshole can push a button and be auto matched with other people. I don't want that asshole on my strike team in a nightfall.

Edited by kingstav: 12/4/2016 9:11:34 PMFair enough But what if there would be two nightfall strikes (the same strike) but one had matchmaking and one didn't.

Edited by Corrick II: 12/4/2016 9:23:54 PM... so basically optional matchmaking. Not enough players. Optional matchmaking would dilute too much of the strike population, not enough people would run strikes, it would be one more barrier to entry, Bungie's trying to retain as many players as possible. Maybe when (if) their daily concurrent goes over a mil, but before that I wouldn't hold your breath.

I feel so left out though. I just want to play nightfall
none of my friends believe in destiny
Edited by Corrick II: 12/4/2016 9:50:47 PMYou can always use the Recruitment forum. Works for me, all my friends quit so I have to go there if I want to do any endgame stuff.
