Honestly Sun/Moon may be the best one, in terms of games. -Actually emotional story, kept me interested -Team Skull -Island Challenge replaces gyms, mixing it up and doing it well, imo -Pokemon as a whole are awesome, every gen has its stupid ones -You can actually complete the dex, it isn't easy, but I don't have to spend my life on GTS Just putting it out there, but mainly because of the story. There is real emotion in this one and it is amazing. --As an aside, I have played every single game aside from Red/Blue. I started my adventure at Yellow.

 • For me, team skull borderlines extremely lame and -blam!-ing hilarious

 • That's the point, they're wannabe gangsters.

 • I think they are -blam!-ing hilarius because they are extremely lame.

 • I like team skull but the constant cutscenes and hand holding and extremely limited free space to actually explore is frustrating. The routes are shorter, the caves are way shorter, you'll end a cutscene just to walk 10 panels since you can't go anywhere else and get locked in another cutscene. This is literally the longest it's ever taken me to beat a Pokémon game and it's only because of the cutscenes. It's frustrating as hell.

 • Maybe in the beginning, it isn't bad at all later in the game.

 • It's still pretty bad by my standards. Nothing makes me madder than waiting for a scene to end and being told to go explore just to find my path blocked forcing me to go straight to the next flag and another cut scene. Or the other one was the lush jungle trial. The start and end of that fight took forever, I just beat the short girl with the horse and she's still going strong. I heard the end sequence is a 20 minute cut scene that's unskippable and you can't save til after the credits. That blows big time. I like the new creatures and I'll admit the story is interesting but the dialogue wasted on cliche character development is maddening. I'd rather they just put in Easter eggs or books that contain the text for back story so we can piece it together on our own.

 • There's also quite a lot of character customisation as well, more than X and Y.
