Xbox One Game Update

So I had an issue for the first time since getting my X1 a few years back. When I attempt to download the update for Skyrim it tells me that there was an error with the update...when I search xbox support for the error code it pulls up as an xbox 360 error code. Thought maybe it was it my console acting up...but then I put in a game I havent played in a long time and it updated fine. Any one have the same issue with Skyrim, or any other game for that matter? I can't find a solution online...and only offline play is allowed without an update...so I can't play Skyrim with my mods until I can update it. Help please...i have sufficient space, I cleared my local saves, I reset my router, I tried ethernet cable instead of wifi...nothing works to update Skyrim, and all my other games update fine. • You have to update your Xbox. If you already have, go into games and apps, go to updates and manually update it. Hope this helps.

    • Well, skyrim got an update last night and a lot of xbox people were having the same problem. If you are playing anything other than ESO, just disconnect your wifi and play offline. It should start right up and if you do get any achievements, they will pop up the next time you turn your wifi back on.

Uninstall and reinstall skyrim (you can do it without deleting your saves). It should download with the latest update so you'll know if it's a problem with the update itself or if there was just a bug when you did it the first time. The other thing is it may not be compatible with certain mods. Shouldn't be a problem but you never know - depends what your mods do and what the update affects. Not sure if you can access mods outside the game.
