That's kinda dumb and not the answer. Did you read the part about if you nerf range then shotgun / Melee becomes the new meta? Fusion and sidearmes are perfectly good shot range alternatives. Dude it was the same on burning shrine last weekend too. A map with long sightlines that easily favor primaries. If u look at statistics u wil see nobody uses fusions or side arms in current meta because why would u want to have to waot longer to kill when a shotgun gets u the kill instantly at close range. Trust me i read ur post until shotgun range is taken care of it will be the most used secondary

I'm using a sidearm and plenty of people are using fusions. People are learning to counter shotgunners. You don't need to nerf the the way you are describing. That's way over board. A 2 foot 1HK range. That's absurd.
