Seriously wtf was Bungie thinking?
This weapon needs a redesign to prevent exploitation.
switching to semi-auto mode, increases range and impact, but Doesn't reduce fire rate? -assuming you can tap the trigger fast enough, you can still get the same rate as auto mode
So basically all someone needs to do is put it on semi-auto mode, then use a Mod Controller to enable automatic fire, suddenly you have all the stat bonuses but can still maintain the 900rpm fire rate.
Am I missing anything here? Or is this going to be the new Meta in about a week when the controller scripts get written and distributed?
May I suggest
that switching to semi-auto mode needs more encompassing effects. such as clamped ROF, stability changes to trade-off, impact and behavior closer to a true scout rifle?

It's still shark shit so don't worry about it.

It doesn't increase impact.

Needs a buff now

It's impact in the semi auto mode is terrible either rpm. No one is gonna use a rapid fire controller for something with such low impact. Youre better off just using full auto mode.

I agree entirely, and the same should be done for the pulse mode. At the moment it's questionable to pick semi auto or pulse and mods like that will just make it worse.
