What? I've bought every top-notch Halo edition available for purchase but I might skip this one. "Limited quantities" is extremely VAGUE for the statue, I can just buy it after the fact for $10 a year later. As for the flaming helmet or elite armor... if both are not included in Legendary then I will feel like I'm being ripped off. I love Bungie and I want to buy the Legendary edition, but I've always gotten more for my money from them. Can we get a clarification on the statue numbers and whether or not the Legendary edition will inclue both the Elite and Spartan armor/effect. Thanks.

No one will likely see this post, but any idea if the Reach case will vary from edition to edition like in Halo 3 and Halo 2?

I pre ordered the legendary edition. But i am a little disappointed that there was no "Making of" DVD on it. I can only hope that they add one because that was one of the best parts of the Halo 3 legendary edition.

I was gonna get the Legendary Edition but then I realized I'd be paying $70 for a flaming Spartan helmet (I have absolutely 0 interest in the statue and box). I really want those flames, but it isn't worth $70.

Only thing I want from legendary is the flaming helmet. But it's not worth all the $, I'll just buy limited, and hope I can buy the helmet sperate on dlc. [Edited on 04.23.2010 8:40 AM PDT]

So You're Telling us that the reach "recon" armor is only available for a price (A 90 USD Difference from the regular)? Really, take out the bonus effect for legendary. make the effect "earn-able" in game. i have no problem with the limited edition one because if you can scrape up 60 USD then 20 more is in the picture.

I will be pre-ordering a legendary edition. Like others I am disappointed at not seeing a making of dvd listed anywhere. The statue looks awesome and will go along nicely with my collection. The flaming helmet is a little too tacky for me. It was worn by people who worked at Bungie in Halo 3 and I remember playing a person who worked at Bungie in Grifball. Got a nasty gravity hammer kill on me at first because I was stunned looking at the flaming helmet. I hope Bungie makes some distinct way for players to know it's a developer who helped make the game in match making games since the flaming head is going to all of us who purchase a legendary edition. Again, I would have much preferred an armor set. S'yal good I guess. That statue is going to look uber with my other stuff. I'm just hoping Reach includes a lot of customization for the Spartans with hard to earn armor.
