Well, I went to go and play Rise of Iron today after convincing my boss to let me leave early to do so. However, I discovered when I got home that dues to an issue between Microsoft and PayPal, I'm kinda screwed! Apparently PayPal payments have not being going through well to Microsoft recently so my preorder, which was downloaded and installed already on my xbox one, is invalid now.
You'd think they'd send an email if the payment wasn't going through, right? I mean, how would I know? There was plenty of money on my credit card so there shouldn't have been an issue. Apparently, they sent an email to the email account that i used to set up my xbox account 10 years ago that I had removed from my account and deactivated 2 years ago.

So, obviously I should have known that this happened so it's totally my fault. At least according to Microsoft but I'd think that most people wouldn't agree that someone who was not informed of any issue and still saw rise of iron and the pre order bonus as being installed on his xbox up until today (the preorder bonus icon disappeared today) is at fault here and deserves not to receive the preorder bonus.
I submit my cause to the community to see who they side with on this issue and pray that the Iron Lords and those at Bungie can help me out here. I'd gladly put the payment through again to get the content, but I really believe that I shouldn't be punished by not receiving my preorder bonus due to an error that I had no part in.
Thanks for your consideration,
