Its called bloom. It forces you to stay within effective hand cannon range, if not the bullet will, how do i say this, kind of get lost. He will not follow a straight line, instead in goes somewere in the "bloom" area. It looks like the bullet despawns, but it doesnt, it will follow a other path, somewere you may didnt aim. Also rappidly shooting will increase the "bloom" radius, making it more likely that the bullet "gets lost". So if you want that your hand cannon is performing correctly, stay within effective range.

  • Wow it's not like he literally explained in the video or anything. And plus that was his first shots too.

  • He was using his hand connon outside of the effective range. "Ghost bullets" is a term made up by the community, its bloom playing with his shots. If he was a few meters closer, all his shots would have registrated.

  • idk if you notice in the video he fire at effective range and plus he didn't constantly firing which make his shot very slowly like every 1 or 2 second later after 1 shot, also if he is really not in effective range why some shot hits and some doesn't even though the other person is not moving and he took his time shooting.

  • There are videos on youtube which explain all that. It was a while ago since a last watched them. Shoudnt be too hard to find. It basically comes down to that, once you are outside effective range, the bullet can go somewhere within its "bloom" the more rapid your fire, the wider the bloom. If you fire too rapidly the bloom will start kicking in within effective range meanwhile the bloom circle (the radius where the bullet can possibly go) will increase until a certain point. Its really hard to explain, try to find the video if I dont make any sence.
